Year Purchased: 2014
About the owner: We purchased this beautiful log home as a vacation home to share with our friends and large family. My husband and I live in Apex North Carolina, a 3 hour car ride from the cabin. We enjoy spending time at the cabin with our four children and extended family. We enjoy renting out the cabin for others to enjoy when we can't be there. We hope you enjoy the place and make your own special memories.
Why the Owner Chose West Jefferson, NC, USA:
We chose to purchase the property because of its location in the mountains for its year around enjoyment. The roads are also easy to manuver and you don't need a 4x4 to get to this property. We enjoy the 3,000 ft altitude in the summer giving us a perfect average temperature in the summer of 75F. The fall is amazing with the changing of the leaves. Winter brings the holiday season with many Christmas tree farms in the area and shops dedicated to all the trimmings of the season. Appalachian Ski Mountain is the closest ski resort at about 30 miles. Spring is a perfect time to see all the beautiful flowers and Mountain Laurel. Golfing in the area is available in the warmer months.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
The North Carolina mountains are unique and attract visitors from all over the world for its natural beauty of its people and landscape.
