Awesome stay!

  • 5 of 5

I was looking for a nice place for a weekend getaway for me and my daughters. We found it here! It was close to Harper's Ferry and also within driving distance to Charlestown and Sheperdstown, both great places to visit. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. We had absolutely no problems and will definitely be back!!!

Beautiful Home!

  • 5 of 5

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Easy check-in and check-out and the owners were very flexible about the time we arrived and left. We used the kitchen to cook most of our meals and had a blast. This is a beautiful home in a great spot in Harpers Ferry!

Great location, beautiful view of the mountains, impeccably clean and welcoming residence. We biked into town into the C&O canal, easy access to that AT and to Antietam. Fantastic location and quiet and peaceful spot.

The property was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Beautiful location. Easy access. The mattresses were very comfortable which made for well-rested nights. Pet friendly! Everything you need for your pet's visit is provided for your stay. I would highly recommend this as a first option. We will definitely be staying here on our next visit.

Family vacation

  • 5 of 5

Perfect house. Owner is easy to reach, very easy to get along with and went out of her way to make our stay great. The gift basket was a welcoming touch upon arrival as well and gave the kids a treat and emergency food till we made our trip to the grocery store. We have a family of 5. House is very thoughtfully decorated and furnished for a family of 5-6 people. We had plenty of room to move about and the house is very cozy. Our dog equally enjoyed the stay.

We did a lot during our stay. We cooked outback on the grill and used the kitchen on days we did not feel like going out to eat. We went White water rafting, zip lining and did the ropes course with the near by "Adventure Center", they are only a few minutes drive away. They were excellent. We hiked to the top of the mountain to see the Tri-state million dollar view, went kayaking near by at a local park and had a picnic. Took the historical ghost tour, and visited the shops in town for the history lesson and shopping. Perfect family vacation in every way. We did so much physical activity that all of our muscles hurt and we are completely relaxed and happily worn out.
