All that we ask is that you look after the property as if it were your own home and leave it in the same standard as you found it. Accidents happen and we ask that you let us know of any breakages so that we can make sure anything is replaced before the next guests arrive. If you have a pet with you, our house rules are that they are not allowed on any of the furniture or beds. We will provide dog towels for your use in the porch and we ask if it's a wet day that you dry down your dog before entry to the apartment.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Out of the way bliss.
this accommodation is perfect for a holiday or short break, the area is of outstanding beauty especially down the country lanes over the hills and valleys so peaceful would highly recommend it to walkers to really enjoy.
very enjoyable stay
The Poppies is a lovely place to stay, inside is very spacious well laid out with everything you need. Unfortunately the outside area is looking very tired not as web page described.Thankfully the area is wonderful with places like Cragside,Alnwick Castle/gardens and more to see .
I'm very pleased to hear that you had such an enjoyable stay at Poppies. I'm not entirely sure what you mean in your comments about the outside space, but the area has been double checked since your comments. Many thanks for staying at Poppies and we hope to see you again in the future.
Poppies is a very well appointed apartment. The beds are extremely comfortable, including the bunks. The only minus points are the lack of view (felt rather claustrophobic because of nearness of shrubbery) and the settee needs a reinforcing board under the cushions. Otherwise a perfect and extremely peaceful retreat. We would stay again but would want to be in Coquet View.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review, it's much appreciated. I was very pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay at Poppies so much. I'm pleased to say that the offending sofa has been replaced (many thanks for your feedback) and I also now have permission to cut back the shrubs around Poppies.
It's true Poppies doesn't have the sweeping Valley views of Coquet View and Cheviot View, but it does have it's own charming countryside views and a patio overlooking open countryside, which is reflected in the price. Many thanks for staying at Westcliffe House and I look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Kind regards, Andrew.
