This newer townhouse can sleep up to 6 guests (1-King, 2-Queen). It has 3 bedrooms, 2½ bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, and an attached garage. The Master Suite includes a master bathroom, a walk-in closet, and its own HDTV with cable. Fast WiFi also available.

The location couldn’t be more ideal. Portland’s very own New Season’s Market is only a 10 minute walk away where you can shop for all of your grocery and deli needs (including a large organic selection). And if its ice cream you desire, you can’t leave Portland without making a stop at Salt & Straw, which offers some of the most unique and culinary flavor combinations you will ever experience. It is only 8 blocks away!

An added location bonus: Milo’s Place is situated steps away from a bus stop, which can take you downtown or to a place where you can connect to Portland’s efficient light rail system (called the MAX train). The MAX train can take you in all sorts of directions, including downtown, the airport, or the Washington Park/Oregon Zoo area. Other delightful Portland neighborhoods are easy to access by bicycle, public transportation, or car. Whatever works best for you!

About Tina Lundell

I'm a Minnesota native, but have called Portland my home since 1998. My love for Portland, and Oregon as a whole, grows deeper with each passing year. Living in a location that is progressive, environmentally conscious, and accessible to so many outdoor activities that fit my lifestyle perfectly. I'm committed to ensuring YOUR Portland experience while staying at Milo's Place, will leave lasting, positive memories, and the desire for you to return again and again.

Tina Lundell purchased this bungalow in 2007

Why Tina Lundell chose Portland

Milo, the original and first owner of this townhouse, was my Dad. He moved to Portland (from Minneapolis, MN) in 2007 to be near me. Like me, he immediately fell in love with Portland and the Alberta Arts District. He walked the neighborhood, visited the shops, and both he and I frequented many of the outstanding restaurants on a regular basis. In the true and genuine Portland spirit, which makes it such an outstanding city, Milo was well respected and well loved by neighbors, merchants, and restaurant owners. And he loved and respected them right back. The warm, diverse, eclectic, and vibrant Alberta Arts neighborhood provided Milo (and continues to provide for me), an enriching lifestyle that nourishes the soul. The location, the energy, the neighborhood, and the people, in a word, are PERFECT! Milo's Place is my way of honoring his memory as well as providing visitors the opportunity to experience this lovely Alberta neighborhood, and Portland as a whole.

What makes this bungalow unique

Location, location, location…walking distance to several outstanding ethnic restaurants and pubs, as Alberta Arts District is literally just around the corner! Plus an outstanding local grocery chain (New Seasons Market) and accessible public transportation nearby! In addition, when you prefer to relax at 'home', this modern townhouse offers a spacious, yet cozy open floor plan with a very user friendly kitchen. The back patio provides you with a serene place for your morning cup of coffee or your evening glass of wine. The 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms make it a very suitable place for a family stay or multiple guests.

we had an amazingly wonderful stay at Milo's Place for 6 days - the accommodations were perfectly provided for - from toilet paper to Condiments and toddler toys to kitchen utensils.

The area provided eating places that were fun for all and within walking distance.

The caregivers of Milos place do a marvellous job of caring for this residence.

Anyone considering this place, do not hesitate to book.

Great location, quiet, well provisioned house, would stay there again

  • 5 of 5

Enjoyed our stay overall. The bedrooms/bathrooms worked well, the kitchen was nice, living area is a bit small as is the dining area, but functional and adequate for our needs since we were on the go most of the time. Owner was responsive and helpful. Everything went quite smoothly and the property met all of our expectations.

Wonderful home in a perfect location

  • 5 of 5

The location would have been perfect even had it not been a few blocks from our son's place. And the home is elegant but very welcoming, generously equipped, comfortably laid-out, and beautifully maintained. Couldn't ask for more in any way. We were supplied with lots of good info about the nearby places, as well as excellent instructions for the home itself.

A gem of a place, with an excellent location and all the comforts of home.

  • 5 of 5

Tina was easy to deal with, responded quickly to our questions and concerns. The location of the house, in a quiet neighborhood, was convenient to the many shops and restaurants on Alberta Street. The house itself was spotless and appeared lovingly cared for. No amenities were lacking. We were well pleased with this beautiful little house.

Great rental in a fun area!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, toddler, and me just spent 3 nights at Milo's Place, and we loved it! We felt at home right away, and the house contained everything that we needed. The pack and play was set up when we got there, and Tina even picked up a new pack and play sheet! All the rooms were a good size, and the master bedroom had a huge bed, shower, and closet. I especially appreciated the location...just a block off Alberta street, and close to lots of restaurants and shops. We walked to the New Seasons grocery store as soon as we unpacked to get milk for my kiddo to have in the house, and it was a nice store. Think a smaller Whole Foods, but somewhat more reasonable prices, and less intimidating :) Also walked to multiple restaurants on Alberta, including Salt & Straw (delicious ice cream), Pine State Biscuits (best biscuit I've ever had), and another Southern restaurant that I can't recall (maybe it started with a B?) Not on Alberta (we drove there), but another restaurant I HIGHLY recommend is called Slappy Cakes. It's a make your own pancake place, but I promise it's worth it. The batter is delicious, and egg benedicts were amazing. In addition, we drove to other parts of Portland, and I was impressed with how accessible Milo's Place was to those locations. Even driving into downtown was easy. Finally, the Kennedy School House (a McMinimans Hotel) was also within walking distance from Milo's Place, and it was a fun place to check out. They had a good restaurant, and lots of fun bars. Overall, loved how homey the house felt, Tina's quick responses, and the location, and can't wait to stay at Milo's Place again soon!
