About Tina Lundell
I'm a Minnesota native, but have called Portland my home since 1998. My love for Portland, and Oregon as a whole, grows deeper with each passing year. Living in a location that is progressive, environmentally conscious, and accessible to so many outdoor activities that fit my lifestyle perfectly. I'm committed to ensuring YOUR Portland experience while staying at Milo's Place, will leave lasting, positive memories, and the desire for you to return again and again.
Tina Lundell purchased this Townhome in 2007
Why Tina Lundell chose Alberta Arts District
Milo, the original and first owner of this townhouse, was my Dad. He moved to Portland (from Minneapolis, MN) in 2007 to be near me. Like me, he immediately fell in love with Portland and the Alberta Arts District. He walked the neighborhood, visited the shops, and both he and I frequented many of the outstanding restaurants on a regular basis. In the true and genuine Portland spirit, which makes it such an outstanding city, Milo was well respected and well loved by neighbors, merchants, and restaurant owners. And he loved and respected them right back. The warm, diverse, eclectic, and vibrant Alberta Arts neighborhood provided Milo (and continues to provide for me), an enriching lifestyle that nourishes the soul. The location, the energy, the neighborhood, and the people, in a word, are PERFECT! Milo's Place is my way of honoring his memory as well as providing visitors the opportunity to experience this lovely Alberta neighborhood, and Portland as a whole.
What makes this Townhome unique
Location, location, location…walking distance to several outstanding ethnic restaurants and pubs, as Alberta Arts District is literally just around the corner! Plus an outstanding local grocery chain (New Seasons Market) and accessible public transportation nearby! In addition, when you prefer to relax at 'home', this modern townhouse offers a spacious, yet cozy open floor plan with a very user friendly kitchen. The back patio provides you with a serene place for your morning cup of coffee or your evening glass of wine. The 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms make it a very suitable place for a family stay or multiple guests.

Great value! Spacious and well equipped/stocked. Wonderful location for exploring on foot. Landlord quick to respond and very accommodating. Charming home.
Great place in great location
We are a family of 5 and loved staying here. The townhouse was spacious - plenty of room for everyone - and really nicely appointed. The location is fantastic. We would highly recommend staying here!
Comfortable, Clean, Close to a fun!
Milo’s place was a perfect home base for me and my family. We had never been to Portland and just wanted to take in the city. We knew we wanted to be close to the funky arts district and Milo’s place with within a minute walk. In spite of being close to the action, the neighborhood street was quiet. It was a joy to be able to walk to breakfast, lunch and dinner with great food and drinks. If we wished to dine in, the kitchen was very well appointed. We had everything we needed. We’ve stayed in numerous VRBOs. Far too many are lacking, but not this one. The beds and lenins were good quality and comfortable. There were plenty of pillows and bath towels. Even better, there were plenty of towel racks and hooks. There were even spare phone chargers and batteries available. We kept one of the house coolers in our car for groceries. Very helpful! We rented a car so we were able to go all over the city and even drove out to Ecola Park on the coast just 1.5 hrs away. Having a driveway to park in was a plus!! Tina, our host, was very responsive and available. She made sure to replace a lost garage door opener before we arrived. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some local beers. We would definitely stay at Milo’s Place again. Easy to use TV, good signal, good WiFi. Tina’s really thought of everything!
What a lovely home to spend time in. Our group was in Portland for work and coming home to Milo's Place was a treat. The home is spacious and light filled, the beds are sooooooo comfortable and walking to world class coffee and dining is perfect. Tina's hospitality is wonderful. We plan to stay again!
Great for our family trip!
We had an amazing time at Milo’s Place! The property was clean, spacious, well-appointed (extra sheets, towels, cookware), quiet and quite comfortable! The location is perfect. We walked to get donuts, coffee and brunch and shopped on Alberta Street just a couple of blocks away. The owner was accessible, responsive and pleasant to interact with. I honestly would not have wished for anything more. We definitely hope to be back. Thank you for having us!
Great house, great location!
This house was exactly what we needed for our vacation. The kitchen and living room were spacious, and all the amenities were updated. It's so close to Alberta Street -- lots of good coffee, yoga, restaurants within walking distance. We would stay here again!
Only steps away from the Alberta Arts District which offers over a mile stretch of a variety of locally owned ethnic restaurants, funky boutiques, bars, galleries, yoga, massage, a gym, and a live theatre, plus more.
