My husband and I loved spending time in this absolutely adorable property! The owners anticipated every need to provide a comfortable and unforgettable experience. We plan to return to Alamos and spend more time in the appropriately named Casa Paraíso. Thank you!
Jerry & Maria
We look forward to another visit from Jerry and María. They were lovely guests and we appreciate the sincere connection that they made as they explored Marías roots around Alamos.
Our family of 4 (two adults, one toddler and one teenager) stayed at this rental in the midst of the monsoon season and we had a wonderful time!
This casa is situated on a hill overlooking Alamos with a beautiful view of the colonial town. Hummingbirds, butterflies and beautiful birds were in abundance due in no small part to the wonderful vegetation around the property.
The house itself was cozy and beautiful. Despite the monsoon season cooling off Alamos at this time of year, nights are quite hot. The A/C in both main rooms kept us comfortable all night. The rest of the house stays quite cool due to it being adobe and the abundance of doors, windows and shade to keep it cool.
The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed to cook small meals. There is a mercado just down the hill from this house, so shopping was incredibly near by.
The owners were incredibly communicative and gave us not only super detailed instructions on everything we needed to know, they gave us the inside scoop on everything to do and see around Alamos.
The house might pose challenges with anyone with walking difficulty as there are stairs leading to the front and it's on a hill. Otherwise I would say this was the best house we could possibly find in Alamos! Highly recommend.
Great house and location
Our family stayed in this house for 2 months and really enjoyed our time here. The house is nicely decorated and very comfortable. It has a nice patio to hang out on surrounded by trees and flowers. So great to have a lime tree right out the door! A barn owl hangs out at night in one of the palm trees near the patio.
It has off street parking and is located within easy walking distance to the stores and plaza. You will hear the noise and music from the Alameda on weekends. The housekeeper is very nice and any issues are taken care of quickly. There were also very few bugs or spiders and no scorpions which can be a problem in Mexico.
