About the property

1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2 Private Cabin In Banff

Have you ever wanted your own cabin in the mountains? This is your chance to experience the beauty of Banff National Park while enjoying the comfort of your private cabin. The cabin is centrally located 2 blocks from downtown Banff with its bustling main street lined with great shopping, restaurants and bars. It is set in the backyard of an original Banff heritage house dating back almost one hundred years.

The warm wood interior of the cabin is an inviting place to rest after a day of hiking or skiing in the mountains. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and Jacuzzi tub, for relaxing after an active day, as well as an adjoining living area with a futon. There is a kitchenette with a small bar fridge, microwave and coffee maker that is perfect for having breakfast or packing a lunch before your day of activity. Several enticing restaurants to fit every price range are to be found nearby. Contained within the cabin is a private bathroom with shower. Outside the cabin, you can enjoy your morning coffee on the sunny deck or use the barbeque that is provided.

Shuttle buses to the 3 major ski hills in the area (Lake Louise, Sunshine and Norquay) leave from nearby. Public transit buses within Banff and to Canmore have stops near the cabin.

Cozy Cabin for 2

  • 4 of 5

We had a great 5 night stay at Ross's Country Cabin. 300 square feet is quite tiny but we knew it was small when we booked it. I would not recommend this Cabin if you are big or tall as you will struggle just moving about. We love to eat the majority of our meals in, so the propane grill got some use. We also packed an electric skillet which really came in handy. The dedicated parking spot is ideal. Great location to walk about. All in all, the Cabin worked well for us!

Cute little quaint cabin in busy Banff

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here Aug 20-24th 2017 while travelling around Banff. It was very small, but perfect for what we needed. Having the BBQ and small kitchenette to prepare some of our own meals saved us some money as Banff is quite pricey. We enjoyed having our own little quiet place to go to after a busy day. The tub was nice to have for a soak after some long hikes too and I found the bed comfortable. We didn't really use the TVs much but they were nice to have and the wifi was handy for searching our next place to go and researching the area. Ross was very friendly and communicative so this made things easy! Thanks for your kind hospitality ~Rebecca and Andrew

Perfect home base for the day hiker

  • 5 of 5

Cabin is true to description. It was centrally located to everything in Banff and is easy to walk to shops and restaurants from. Ross is very communicative and was easy to get ahold of for directions, and recommendations in the area.
