Lovely cosy cabin, super clean and a perfect stay for trips into the Banff National Park

  • 5 of 5

You really have the feeling this little cabin is directly in the mountains, although it is located in a really quiet street only 5 minutes walk from downtown of Banff. You enter the tiny house and you feel like: this is Canada. A cosy livingroom with a small kitchen (everything you need is here, just no option to cook, but loads of good restaurants are around) and a nice living room. The bed is super comfortable and the bedroom comes with a hot tub! The cabin is super clean and we loved it so much, we directly booked our next stay.

The communication with Ross was outstanding. He is just so nice and helpful. Every email, every question was answered so quick and he helped us a lot with recommendations for the best things to do and see in Banff. Thanks a lot, it was the best decision to stay here.

Great little cabin near the heart of Banff

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is perfect for a small family! It has all the basic amenities plus a great hot tub in the bedroom. The gas grill comes in very handy. This place provides great value for the money. We really look forward to visiting again.

Ross is a great host, and he responds to emails almost instantly. He was in regular contact with us, and even sent us little updates about the weather prior to our reaching Banff.

The little cabin is cute, well organized and comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

This little cabin is exactly what it promotes. It's one block off main street, tucked in the back of an existing property. It has its own parking spot and is on a quiet side street. The bed comfortably sleeps two and there is a large jacuzzi tub in the bed room that also comfortably accommodates two. The living room is comfortable and there is a sparse but functional little counter top with sink and bar fridge . There is a 3 piece bathroom just off the living room as you enter through the front door as well. There is a picnic table and BBQ just outside on the porch.....grilling some great steaks, or your favourite protein, accompanied by your favourite bottle of wine and your setting is perfect for a wonderful meal.

The first time at this little cabin was with my wife for our anniversary. The second time, recently, was for a four day conference. If, you are staying for business then consider coming with a small portable ironing board or have all your clothes ironed in advance. There isn't one provided due to space limitations.

If, you are going to compare and critique this little cabin against your Marriott Hotel experiences, then perhaps consider staying at one of the major hotel chains in town. Adjust your expectations appropriately and you'll be as satisfied as I have been. Apart from the ironing board there is one point to consider which is the internet speed. The internet speed is decent and comparable to most hotel chains. What I mean by this is, if you want to watch netflix or peruse Facebook, email...then your good. If your expectation is for more than that...then you'll be frustrated. Also, if there are too many devises sharing the internet connection then it slows down dramatically. Once again though...adjust your expectations and you'll be fine.

I have obtained and concurrently held the highest reward point levels at two major hotel chains. This may give some added value to the comments above.....that I may be considered by some, to be an experienced traveller.

In summary: the cabin is great, location is great, owners are great and the price is good.

Log cabin close to town

  • 3 of 5

The cabin was a little bit cramped for room with a lack of some facilities, such as cook tops and laundry. We really enjoyed our visit to Banff and the cabin was easy walking distance to the towns shops and facilities. The off street parking was convenient, as street parking in the area was hard to come by.

Awesome Long Weekend Getaway

  • 4 of 5

Perfect little cabin for our long weekend holiday. Had everything we needed and was walking distance from everything in town so we didn't have to worry about trying to park. Has a parking space off the road as well so you don't need to worry about your car being on the street. Owner was very helpful and provided info and answered all questions long before we arrived. Jacuzzi tub was perfect to relax after a day full of hiking! Only thing is the towels and pillows could stand to be replaced. Would definitely recommend and return in the future!
