About the property

1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2 Private Cabin In Banff

Have you ever wanted your own cabin in the mountains? This is your chance to experience the beauty of Banff National Park while enjoying the comfort of your private cabin. The cabin is centrally located 2 blocks from downtown Banff with its bustling main street lined with great shopping, restaurants and bars. It is set in the backyard of an original Banff heritage house dating back almost one hundred years.

The warm wood interior of the cabin is an inviting place to rest after a day of hiking or skiing in the mountains. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and Jacuzzi tub, for relaxing after an active day, as well as an adjoining living area with a futon. There is a kitchenette with a small bar fridge, microwave and coffee maker that is perfect for having breakfast or packing a lunch before your day of activity. Several enticing restaurants to fit every price range are to be found nearby. Contained within the cabin is a private bathroom with shower. Outside the cabin, you can enjoy your morning coffee on the sunny deck or use the barbeque that is provided.

Shuttle buses to the 3 major ski hills in the area (Lake Louise, Sunshine and Norquay) leave from nearby. Public transit buses within Banff and to Canmore have stops near the cabin.

Homely cabin in an excellent location!

  • 4 of 5

We loved the cabin it was perfect for our stay in Banff! Whilst on the smaller side this isn't an issue as it is a lovely Base Camp for exploring all the beautiful natural wonders around! The cabin was adequate for the week and had everything we needed. We would recommend staying here.

Clean, functional, and perfect for our 4 days in Banff!

  • 5 of 5

The owner was so helpful and provided a lot of information to help us know what to do during our stay! All the cabin's amnesties were on point, and we will absolutely try to stay here again upon return to the area!

Great accommodations in an excellent location.

  • 5 of 5

Cabin was nice and quiet and cozy. Being within walking distance of major Banff town attractions was a big plus. Assigned parking spot off street was great. Highly recommend.

Somewhat disappointing stay.

  • 3 of 5

We stayed in the cabin for 4 nights and were disappointed with our choice. Only one towel each supplied, one pillow each supplied, the futon was the most uncomfortable piece of furniture to sit on (and may I add the only piece of furniture apart from the bed). If you are one of the seven dwarfs or a hobbit you will probably enjoy this cabin but with myself being a somewhat large fellow, 245lb, I found the toilet was more suitable to a much smaller person. The jet/hot tub is so large it takes up 50% of the bedroom, maybe thought should be to have a hot tub outside and thus create more room inside the cabin.

We certainly found the description of the cabin a little misleading. But with all that said and after reading a lot of the reviews in this forum, we are in the minority.

Great for our Banff Weekend Getaway!!

  • 5 of 5

We visited this cozy cabin Thursday afternoon until Sunday and it was perfect. We booked our trip last minute and ended up having another traveler come with us so it definitely was tight but Ross warned us and we are all family so it worked out perfectly. We felt like this gave us the authentic Banff experience! The cabin is tucked away and a little difficult to find but after the initial search it was such a convieient location. We could walk downtown in 5-10 minutes! Ross had maps and a binder for helpful tips when visiting. He also allowed us late check out since our flight was late at night and didnt charge us. We are so grateful that we were able to stay there and thank Ross so much! Our trip to Banff was perfect and this cozy cabin tied our experience altogether

A little smaller than expected, but still comfortable. :)

  • 4 of 5

This cute little cabin is a great way to try out the tiny house lifestyle. It's compact but still has everything needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend in Banff. Considering that it's tucked into a back yard in a tight little community I was very impressed with how quiet it was a night. The location really is ideal as we were able to easily walk downtown for meals and sightseeing. Although we didn't get to meet our host in person, he was very easy to communicate with through email. I'd definitely recommend this comfy little cabin for couples or individuals looking stay get away from crowded hotels.
