A quiet oasis

The apartment has everything you need to feel comfortable and relaxed before heading out each day for a new adventure. They have thought of everything. Well furnished and tastefully decorated. We will certainly book again!

The property was great, and much more than we anticipated! It was clean with snacks, plus a bottle of wine awaiting our arrival. Other than a little street noise, the stay was exactly what we'd hoped for. We'd recommend it, and look forward to returning for future visits to the city.

Awesome unit! Perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

A friend and I recently attended a wedding in New Orleans and we couldn't have picked a better place. The location is perfect - within walking distance to literally everything in the French Quarter. It is in an old historic building but has been completely renovated. The little personal touches, such as the snacks, sodas and wine left for our enjoyment was a wonderful surprise. Will be looking for this particular condo for any future stays!

Great location

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location was perfect for walking to many French Quarter locations (such as Cafe du Monde). It was quiet, aside from some construction noise in the mornings, but no French Quarter location is ever going to be completely silent. The second bedroom has no windows, making it very quiet at night, and the night light in the attached bath helped keep it from being too dark.

The bathrooms were both really well done, with good counter space and roomy showers. They could use some extra towel hooks for hanging clothes and towels while showering, however.

Everything we needed was there, including some nice snacks and drinks. The wifi was strong and all three TVs had access to full cable and DVR, something we don't always find in rentals. We found one TV had a broken HDMI cable, but the owner sent someone to fix it as soon as we notified him. The living room was comfortable for the 3 of us to watch TV at night, but might get crowded with more people.

Parking was an issue, as it is anywhere in the FQ. The construction around us was taking up most of the loading zone and street parking, so we had some trouble unloading our luggage when we arrived. We ended up parking in the Shops at Canal Place garage. It was a few blocks walk, but was the least expensive indoor garage we could find in the area at $30 a day. The door codes made it easy to get in and out without having to keep track of keys.

The only other suggestion we can think of is a second nightstand or bedside table in the master. My father had to use his suitcase to hold his glasses and phone.

We would highly recommend this apartment.

Absolutely fabulous apartment!

  • 5 of 5

Right in the heart of it all, but on a relatively quiet street. The apartment is beautiful. Very nicely furnished and lots of extra perks like wine, pop and snacks being provided. The apartment is in a building dating from the 1800s and has been beautifully renovated while retaining the charm of a 19th Century dwelling. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Perfect location for seeing heart of New Orleans.

  • 5 of 5

Condo was in great shape and perfect for our needs. Location was central to all we wanted to do. We walked most of the time and rode the trolley otherwise. Condo itself was well appointed. I would suggest larger coffee cups for big time coffee drinkers like us. Only drawback for us was the front bedroom is on the street and there is some street noise. Fortunately, it did not effect our sleep.

Heads up that you can walk to the WWII museum and if you want to visit Mardi Gras world, they provide a shuttle. That was a great plus. Bourbon Street is worth one visit just to experience it, but that said we stayed away. Frenchmen Street is the place to go for the music. We were a block away from The House of Blues and did not get to go as no groups were playing while we were there. It was closed for private parties on at least two nights.

Food wise, we would recommend Fleur de Lis for breakfast as well as Daisy Dukes and Jimmy J's. We had to wait in line for the first and last. Acme Oyster House was very good, but so loud you could not hear yourself talk. Highly recommend a food tour.
