Deli Sher purchased this condo in 2014
The location is quiet and private and you may feel as if you are a local rather than a visiting guest.
Princeville is located between all the best beaches on the Island. The North Shore is the best spot to embark on hikes, go surfing or paddleboarding.
The restaurants and nightlife, although not what its known for, are sufficient for a few super evenings.
We had a great stay on the island and loved the convenient location of the condo for all North Shore activities. We could step outside and see nesting albatross, and the endangered Hawaiian goose (Nene), or just stay in bed looking at the ocean and seeing the occasional humpback whale. Beautiful views from nearly every window. The condo was very clean and the owner, Deli, lives next door and was very kind and helpful when needed, but also very respectful of our privacy. The studio kitchen was adequate, with a small refrigerator, kettle, French press, and microwave. The hot plate was a bit challenging to cook on, but we weren't there to cook any gourmet meals. Deli provides everything you need for your beach days including snorkeling gear, beach chairs, a cooler, boogie boards and a surf board All in all, it was a great stay for a great price.
No kitchen, just sink, hot plate, motel fridge. Nice rooms. So, so bed.
Our stay in Kamahana, Princeville was very comfortable, and Deli was very welcoming and responsive. This was a great home base for exploring the north shore of Kauai and much easier than trying to drive back and forth from Poipu or even Lihue. Parking is ample. Princeville center is a nearby shopping center with all of your basic needs, and the small kitchenette was well-stocked and more than sufficient for our needs. Basic gear for activities, including snorkel gear, beach towels, and boogie boards were also conveniently available.
I was very comfortable staying in this condo. It was roomy, comfortable, in a good location, had what I needed (including a small area to make simple meals), and even a view of the ocean and golf course out one window. The owner was very hospitable. I would definitely come back again or recommend this home to a friend. I will always remember sleeping peacefully with the rustling of the palm trees outside the windows.
The north shore has too many beaches and hikes to mention. There is also a lighthouse with bird sanctuary. Princeville is the center point for visiting all North Shore attractions.
