The Kirkland Guest House was built in 1974 by the Williams Family as a 'pool house' next to their own private home. It was designed by contemporary architect Robert Ross to include high ceilings, clear cedar wood walls, peeled poles, a full size kitchen and outdoor terrace.
The 'pool house' connects to the main house and is owned by the eldest Williams son and current owner Brad Williams. As a master carpenter Brad has fully renovated the guest house to be an independent guest suite, styled with a mid-century modern feel.
