2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom on the ground floor just steps from the beach!

This is a ground floor unit just steps from the beach. It was recently remodeled by a designer in a Mexican theme. Many of the items in the condo were imported directly from Mexico, like the bathroom sink in the guest bath and the Mexican saltillo tiles throughout the condo. The condo is also equipped with a full washer & dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked . The condo is has all the towels you will need plus beach towels. The condo building has two large gas grills by the large pool for you use.

About Ramona Castellvi

We bought our condo in 1984 even before we even bought our home. My husband, a doctor in Tampa, who recently passed away unexpectedly, wanted a place where he could be just 40 min. away from his job & the hospital. In the summers, I would stay at the beach with our 3 children & he would commute to Tampa. My parents own Apt. 101 and my sister soon after bought the Apt. 103 on my other side. You could say, we own the bottom left side of the condo building. We have enjoyed it immensely & not only did I grow up there in the 70's but then my children and now their children come in the summers. Even though we bought it in 1984, we have had it redecorated various times. Recently we had a designer decorate it with a Mexican flare. Everything was remodelred including the kitchen and bathrooms. I love to cook so the kitchen is fully stocked.

This property is unique in that after 1984 there was no other construction allowed on the ground floor. By law, everything had to be built up, therefore the need for an elevator & the hassle of collecting everything and hauling it to the beach. We are on the ground floor!

What makes this condo unique

Because we are on the ground floor, YOU ARE ALLOWED to place a table with chairs and an umbrella on the grass and enjoy the breeze and sunsets right outside of your condo. If you have children, you can watch them play right outside the sliding glass doors. When you wake up in the morning, you can put on your swim suit and go straight to the ocean and not have the hassle of taking anything beause your condo is at such an easy access. It is just steps away from the gorgeous white sand.

Beautiful property and condo.

Not what you expect of a beach rental. All decorated in beautiful authentic Mexican theme. Has everything you need from washer/dryer to a fully stocked kitchen. Can sit outside on a table & chairs on the grass directly in front of the condo. Love the fact that it is on the 1st floor. Hope to be back!

Beach Perfect on Indian Rocks Beach

From the first moment we walked thru the front door at the Happy Fiddler and saw the view thru the sand dunes to the beach, we knew we had found a perfect beach vacation spot that we hope to return to for many years to come. This ground floor beach home is so comfortable and well appointed, from the fully stocked kitchen to the very comfortable living room to the well appointed patio facing the Gulf. The listing gives you a great idea of what is in store but it is even better in person. Everything was there that one needs and made for a very easy relaxed stay. This 2 bedroom and 2 bath home is beautifully decorated with wonderful tiles, beautiful art work and more. Great towels, great beach towels, extra hangers in the closet and a safe were wonderful welcome touches. We spent hours on the beach (walking, sitting, running, swimming, birding, shelling and sunset awe) just a short walk from the patio and then would head to the great on site pool (for more swimming and relaxing) and then to the patio to watch the Sun go down and the stars come out. Everything was clean and well kept up. The on site managers were very helpful and great. The location is easy to get to, is close to a Publix and other conveniences. We were also so close to many great restaurants and stores. Within walking distance Villa Gallace quickly became a favorite (best Veal Marsala my husband has had since NYC) as did Aqua Prime (wonderful aged steaks) and the Pub for sitting on the waters as well as others. We both fell totally in love with Indians Rock Beach and its people. We felt like we hit the lottery and as I have said look forward to our next return that cannot be soon enough!

A little bit of heaven,

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your unit at the Fiddler. Overall the setting was wonderful, the people were all friendly, the beach of course is glorious and we loved having a "yard" with table and chairs outside of the unit. I wished there had been screens on the slider and in both windows of the main bedroom. The king bed was certainly large but I think turning the mattress occasionally would help with the comfort. We are kind of sticklers in that area. Loved having the kitchen so completely stocked but the coffee maker took forever-that's just something we live with on vacation I guess. Not like we had a schedule...We loved having TV's in our bedroom and living area and the big table was a nice place to look out at the gulf while eating if we didn't want to eat outside. We would certainly consider renting from you again. Thank you for your hospitality.
