We have a fantastic stay at the home of Phil and Mary. The place was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the floor plan, the beds were ready and comfortable, and we can't imagine a better getaway for a vacation in the mountains of Vermont. The wonderful home is only overshadowed by the genuine goodness of Phil and Mary - they are the best! They had a hot meal waiting for us and we were surprised to find a while later some stockings, hung by the fireplace with care, for each one of us - such a thoughtful gesture since we arrived on Christmas evening. We'd love to come back and stay!
This place is an absolute gem. The house is beautiful , very well maintained and cared for with love. We were here to view the fall colors and this place was more than perfect. The house has the most magnificent valley views. The house is cozy, and very comfortable with a lot of nice patios. The master bedroom suite and the bath is amazing, I loved the décor in the bathroom. They also have a pool table in the family room which was a big hit. The house is on a very large lot, that has a mini golf and cute lil pond . It has some very nice trails around that were pretty cool. The kitchen was well stocked and organized as well. Most importantly though, we felt right at home due to the kind hospitality of the owners - Many & Phil. They are absolutely delightful and the nicest people around. They even allowed us to raid their fridge when we ran out of bread! It was a very enjoyable experience, and we would love to go back some day
This place is wonderful, beautiful and most of all relaxing. The views are incredible and the peacefulness is beyond words. Everything is clean and all the amenities that you need. Just pack your bags and forget about it. Only stay 2 days but I am looking forward to exploring more of this area of Vermont. Also, looking forward for another adventure and stay with Phil & Mary and oh don't forget about Bonnie.
This property is beautifully maintained and enjoys a stunning hillside location with valley views, lovely flower gardens and a deep pond for swimming. The house comfortably accommodates a crowd, with an open floor plan downstairs that lends itself to entertaining and mingling (multiple seating areas, pool table, well appointed kitchen). Our crowd grew to as many as 19 for dinner, from 7 to 91 years of age, and all reported a great time. The house can accommodate more, with ease, but the rooms and outdoor spaces are sized and furnished to allow intimate conversations or quiet reading. The owners, Mary and Phil, are thoughtful and attentive---they gifted us with dinner on the night of our arrival and a breakfast basket for the next morning. In absolutely every respect, our visit was wonderful! We were sad to leave when the weekend was over.
I rented the house for four days to house myself and several out of town friends for my wedding, right off the bat I thought "no pictures could ever do this place justice". The house itself is amazing to say the least, it's perfectly maintained and extremely clean. The layout is perfect. We spent a lot of time on the back patio because the view is absolutely beautiful. A major plus for the whole group was the pond, it was great to jump in each morning to wake up. The owners were very welcoming and did everything to ensure we had a great stay. Overall, this rental exceeded everyone's expectations and I can't recommend it enough!
What a fantastic stay our family had at this property! We attended the law school graduation and this was a perfect place to relax and soak in the scenery of Vermont. The property has such unique character, from the golf course to the beautiful pond and all the thoughtful personal touches, the owners have done an outstanding job in creating the experience. We were very grateful to have found this one and for the owner's very kind hospitality (thank you!). If visiting the area, this one is not to be missed!!
