Just the right amount of everything!
I've stayed at several properties on the point, and this one is my all-time favorite! Beachy, classy, casual - just the right amount of everything. A cook's kitchen - wonderfully stocked, with an open, airy great room for meals and gatherings. Colleen has done a wonderful job with high-end but relaxed decor. Loved the outdoor deck with awning - relaxed easily there in the rain without getting wet! Housed 8 of us comfortably - we didn't feel like we were cramped or on top of each other. Very easy, close walk to the beach. Wouldn't hesitate to rent again, and again!
Wonderful house with lots of amenities. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. Just a block from the beach.
A wonderful home to stay in with boho chic decour!
This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this house. We just love it. The owner has thought of every convenience you might want to make your stay perfect, including bikes for zipping around the point!
Charming beach house steps from the beach
Just got back from awesome week at this house! It's just a few houses away from beach access and down the street from The Red Store. The house was recently renovated and the owners did a really fantastic job. It felt beachy but modern. All the bathrooms all have gorgeous tile. There is some kind of engineered wood flooring throughout which was easy to clean and felt really good underfoot. We really enjoyed hanging out on the upper patio at night, you can hear the waves crashing on the shore. It was very well appointed and had everything we needed for a week at the beach.
My only suggestions would be to add on to the outdoor shower so there is a place to hang a towel.
Cape May Point is a great little beach town. It's quiet and the beaches were not very crowed, even 4th of July week. Hope to stay here again!
Glad you enjoyed the house and your stay!
Thanks for the suggestion - I did buy some cute octopus towel hooks and will get them up next time I am there!
Beautiful, fun, relaxing, and easy
This house is decorated very cool. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed spending time on the front deck. The weather was great and we waked to the beach every day - one day all the way to town. Spring break was a great time for the kids to play in the yard and we rode bikes quite a bit. Highly recommend, and the owner was very friendly and responsive.
We loved it
Truly lovely beach house in a quiet neighborhood. After vacationing in downtown Cape May for almost 20 years, this was our first trip to the Point. We loved it, and I can't see going back to downtown.
The house itself was lovely. Perfectly updated and beachy. All the bedrooms are oversized. Large deck. The public spaces (kitchen - living room - dining room) are a bit small, but if you're traveling with kids, they'll have lots of room to play downstairs in the bedrooms and in the yard. When the weather is nice, the deck more than doubles the hang-out space. We were a party of five, myself, my husband, two teenagers and my mom. The property worked beautifully for all.
One block to the beach. Walk-able to the lighthouse and state park. October was fantastic for naturalists. All kinds of birds migrate and stop at the Point, as do Monarch butterflies. The walking trails through the park are level, mostly decked, and vary in length for all abilities. Gorgeous views. This was a highlight.
The owner was perfectly responsive and a joy to deal with. Highly recommend. We will stay here again.
Biking/Walking distance from the Cape May Bird Observatory, home of the 2014 World Series of Birding. Enjoy the Exit Zero International Jazz Festival - Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 in Cape May.
