Friendly host , clean house and accessible to the city

  • 5 of 5

We arrived early at 2pm and Miriam had made arrangements on how we could get the keys to house. It is clean and very accessible to the city of Verona. She recommended restaurants to try out and also 'miss-not' tourist attractions.

The friendliness as we both struggled to understand each other( English speaking and Italian speaking).

If I ever get a chance to visit Italy-Verona in particular, I'll stay at the house.

Great Apartment in fantastic location.

  • 5 of 5

My wife and 2 kids stayed here for a night in July. This was the perfect spot for us. Great location just a short walk from the historic district. The air conditioning was a welcome sight for my crew as it was very hot the day we spent in Verona. Very comfortable beds. And the hosts were great! I'd strongly recommend this for anyone traveling to Verona.

Comfy beds, plenty of storage, well-equipped kitchen, clean and well-presented. A previous renter commented about some noise from a bar - if you close the shutters as well as the windows (you may need the efficient air-con in summer) it virtually disappears. Shops and a couple of restaurants close by, Arena and centre a 10-15 min walk, bus from rail station at end of street. Parking could be an issue but public transport is good and cheap.

Great location and cozy apartment

  • 4 of 5

We were treated by Miriam, who was very friendly and helpful. The communication in booking and meeting was excellent.

The apartment is in a great location a short walk from the centre, so very easy access to all you need.

The flat was cozy, with all we needed and more, lots of attention to detail.

Whilst check in is from 3:00, Miriam accommodated us and met us 12:00 to drop off our luggage, which was very much appreciated.

The only reason I haven't marked a 5 is the area is a little noisy at night. (We had read a review with similar feedback, so we're aware) It didn't bother us too much though as we were only there for a weekend break.

Bright, spotless apartment close to everything.

  • 4 of 5

This is a very clean and bright apartment, close to buses taking one into the centre of Verona. The owners were very helpful and available. Beds very comfortable,

We did day trips to Padua and Mandova easily as there is excellent train service to both. The only negative is the sports bar across the little square was busy and noisy quite late, but not every night. All in all, an excellent choice.

Comfortable, clean, and convenient!

  • 5 of 5

Situated an easy walk from Verona's busy center, this sweet apartment was perfect for our recent stay. Verona is quite a human-scale city which can be walked easily, so we parked our car at a commercial lot just around the corner and left it there for our three-day stay.

The apartment has been renovated recently and is very clean and modern (with the exception of the stove & refrigerator which are somewhat dated but serviceable). The internet is fast and reliable, the bathroom is spacious and modern, the beds are comfortable, and since we were there in August, the a/c was most welcome. The flat is on the third floor and, as is common in Europe, there is no lift.

Mirko was quick to respond and very helpful; Elena met us when we arrived and graciously answered all our questions. They have compiled a helpful list of attractions, restaurants and grocery options. Elena is a native Veronan who also speaks fluent English (as does Mirko), and so was a valuable resource and font of information.

The Arena di Verona is only about 10 minutes' walk from the flat, as is the Via Giuseppi Mazzini, the main upscale shopping street (more like an outdoor high-end mall). Most vehicle traffic has been barred from this street, and in August it is clogged with tourists and shoppers, so one doesn't want to drive here anyway.

The flat was an excellent choice for us. Thank you, Mirko and Elena!
