This pet-friendly Truckee vacation home has plenty of space for the entire family and features modern amenities and contemporary updates, providing the ultimate in luxury and comfort. When you're not warming your toes on the living room's fireplace, you may be grilling hot dogs on the outdoor BBQ grill or watching your favorite TV show in the downstairs family room.
Located in a private Lake Tahoe community, you'll have access to the swimming pool, hot tub, tennis courts and more (for a small daily fee). You can also take a quick 10 minute walk to the popular Tahoe Donner Golf Course for a day on the greens, or drive to one of the nearby ski areas in the snowy winter months for some of the best ski trails.
This majestic home has a beautiful kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, so cooking big breakfasts for the family or just popping some popcorn for movie nights will be a breeze! There's even a big wooden dining table where everyone can gather for meals.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a comfortable living room, complete with a sectional sofa (that turns into a sofa bed), a fireplace, and a flatscreen TV with cable and a DVD player. Off of this room is desk access with a BBQ grill and outdoor furniture - so you can spend warm evenings taking in the fresh mountain air.
This home has four bedrooms throughout. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and its own bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two bunk beds so up to four guests can sleep comfortably. The third bedroom on the top floor also has two bunk beds, and the fourth bedroom on the downstairs level has a queen bed. Altogether, this home can sleep up to 12 guests. You can even bring the family dogs (two maximum) for a small nightly fee.
Additional amenities include three more bathrooms, a family room with another TV, a laundry room with a washer and dryer and the two sofa beds.
If you and your family want a space to gather and reconnect, then the Paradise In The Pines should be your next vacation destination. With so much to do without even leaving the community, as well as easy access to the slopes and the beaches of north Lake Tahoe, you'll never run out of things to do!
Note: the use of Tahoe Donner HOA facilities requires additional daily fees.

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Great place for family with kids, verry roomie and cosy. My kids loved it! Plenty of board games for them to play. 2 wood burning fireplace, that keep the house nice and toasty! No wood on property but staff was helpful and was able to provide us with plenty of fire wood! Plenty of snow for kids to play in back yard. Just bring food and drinks and everything else is pretty much provided.
Paradise in the Pines was perfect for our large family vacation. There was a large great room for all of us to gather and also areas to get some privacy. Plenty of beds for adults and children. Truckee is a fun winter vacation spot with lots to do and good restaurants. I would definitely return to this rental again. It meant all our needs.
This is my families 2nd year doing a cabin trip, our first cabin was a little crammed. This year, this cabin was very spacious, especially the kitchen. I love how there were multiple rooms in each floor. The only downside was that the walls are really thin, so you were able to hear people in the living from from all bedrooms. Other than that, we had a great time.
We enjoyed our stay here very much (great for kids and the downstairs living room was a huge bonus). The house was clean, spacious and well appointed, even if the beds were a bit stiff. if you're a cook, bring your own pots and pans!
