About Cindy Rybaczyk

My husband John and I reside in New Jersey for approximately 49 weeks a year; the other 3, we're in the Keys! I am a retired teacher of gifted and talented students and my husband is a retired programmer on the air traffic control system. Our love of the Keys began in 1991 when we made our first trip to learn to scuba dive. To put it mildly, we've been hooked ever since! The diving is fantastic, the fishing is great, and the Keys are a nice relaxing place to enjoy some quality time away from everything.

Cindy Rybaczyk purchased this mobile home in 2012

Why Cindy Rybaczyk chose Lower Keys Area

We've been staying in Venture Out since our first trip back in 1991. I started looking for a place early on but felt we couldn't quite put everything together to make it happen until we finally purchased in 2012. Here's what I mean - I've stayed in great units in Venture Out, and I've stayed in... not so great units. My intention from the start was to not purchase until I was certain that I could make my unit be up to par of what I expected. Each trip we make, we insure that things our right for both us and our guests. Upgrades are made as needed, and this has so far included replacing the air conditioning, a new gas grill, new living room furniture, new bedding for one of the two bedrooms, and three new TV's with DVD players. The TV in the living room is a Samsung 48". All TV's have Xfinity X1's Complete Package with HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, TMC, and Starz... 260+ channels total. We've added Wi-Fi Internet access, installed phone and cable service, and made it a point of keeping up with things that needed to be done. When selecting a rental unit, I can't say it enough - there are some good ones and there are some that aren't quite as good. I make sure that my unit has everything guests need to be comfortable and to enjoy their stay.

What makes this mobile home unique

The best part of my unit is the waterfront access. You can dock your boat along our 35' patio. Venture Out is just 7 miles by boat out to Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary.

Great location! The boat access behind the house made our daily boat trips extremely convenient. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again. Great place!

Perfect location in a peaceful community

  • 5 of 5

We were so happy to have an opportunity to stay in this lovely and charming home. It was perfect for our needs. The owner was very helpful and easy to work with. If you are looking for a quiet spot to base your Key's trip, this is perfect. Just a short drive from Key West or Marathon. It would also be a wonderful location for snowbirds to be able to spread their wings during the winter months.

This was a beautiful property. Clean, quiet and conveniently located. I would certainly rent it again. It was perfect for 4 people. We dad an amazing week there! The neighbors were friendly and the rental process was easy. We ate at the square grouper and the Wharf, both delicious with great drinks. The Winn Dixie supermarket and Murray's were close by for food shopping. It was about 25 minutes to Key west, perfect for us!

Owner's Response: I'm glad everything worked out perfectly for you. We like the convenience to things as well - when you don't want to do a full grocery shopping trip up at Winn Dixie in Big Pine (8 miles away), Murrary's is right around the corner (2 miles). We'd be happy to have you stay at our home again the next time you visit the Keys!

keys vacation

  • 2 of 5

Unit is situated well on the water. House was very clean and had the amenities we wanted. Master bed was very uncomfortable and living room furnishings were a hodge podge thrown together. Security at the complex was very good, we felt safe. We took our golf cart since we had 3 other couples in our group so getting around was wonderful.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review Bev. I’m glad you felt the house was very clean and had all of the amenities you wanted including being on the water. We agree that Venture Out’s security is excellent – they work hard to keep everyone happy while they visit. I was surprised that based on those comments, you gave our home a two out of five star rating. Regarding the furniture in the living room that you referred to as a hodge podge, the three piece set (queen sized sleeper sofa with matching chair and ottoman) was purchased in July, 2013. The additional chairs in the living room enable visitors to seat guests (the wicker chairs were selected because they could be moved easily if necessary if a group needed to open up and use the sleeper sofa). I’m not sure of which bed you referred to as being the master. The firmer queen sized bed (mattress, box spring, and headboard) in the main part of the unit was purchased in July, 2014. The softer queen sized bed on the Florida room side was relatively new when we purchased our home in 2012. By providing guests with options regarding firmness of bedding, we felt they could choose to sleep where they felt the most comfortable.

The fishing, diving, and snorkeling in the Lower Keys is, putting it mildly, out of this world! For divers and snorkelers, we are located just 7 miles by boat from Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary - there are numerous dive shops in the area that run trips daily if you do not have your own boat. The fishing in the area waters is outstanding. While not on the water, you can enjoy a trip down to Key West to experience sunset celebration or take a ride on the Conch Tour Train, or head further up the Keys to visit The Theater of the Sea or the Dolphin Research Center. Any time of the year is a great time for a Lower Florida Keys visit!
