About Cindy Rybaczyk
My husband John and I split our time between New Jersey, Leesburg FL, and the Keys! I am a retired teacher of gifted and talented students and my husband is a retired programmer on the air traffic control system. Our love of the Keys began in 1991 when we made our first trip to learn to scuba dive. To put it mildly, we've been hooked ever since! The diving is fantastic, the fishing is great, and the Keys are a nice relaxing place to enjoy some quality time away from everything.
Cindy Rybaczyk purchased this Mobile Home in 2012
Why Cindy Rybaczyk chose Cudjoe Key
We've been staying in Venture Out since our first trip back in 1991. I started looking for a place early on but felt we couldn't quite put everything together to make it happen until we finally purchased in 2012. Here's what I mean - I've stayed in great units in Venture Out, and I've stayed in... not so great units. My intention from the start was to not purchase until I was certain that I could make my unit be up to par of what I expected. Each trip we make, we insure that things are right for both us and our guests. Upgrades are made as needed, and this has so far included replacing the air conditioning, a new gas grill, new living room furniture, new bedding for one of the two bedrooms, and three new TV's. The TV in the living room is a Samsung 43". All TV's have Xfinity X1's Complete Package with HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, TMC, and Starz... 260+ channels total. We've added Wi-Fi Internet access in the unit, installed phone and cable service, and made it a point of keeping up with things that needed to be done. When selecting a rental unit, I can't say it enough - there are some good ones and there are some that aren't quite as good. I make sure that my unit has everything guests need to be comfortable and to enjoy their stay.
What makes this Mobile Home unique
The best part of my unit is the waterfront access. You can dock your boat along our 35' patio. Venture Out is just 7 miles by boat out to Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary.

Not worth the $
The are is really beautiful. However the rules are ridiculous, we paid alot to come for the week and to be told we can only put so many room temp. drinks in the frig and that if we mess with the thermostat we are going to be fined. I felt like I was walking on egg shells instead of relaxing with all the can't do's for the money we paid. The beds were awful felt like they were fifty years old with the lumps in them. I will not be returning to this property.
I would have assumed that if the guest felt there were problems, she would have reached out to either me or my realtor. Rather than do that, she waited until after the fact (when it was too late to correct her issues). Regarding the area, I agree it is beautiful - we are seven miles by boat from Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary and Venture Out strives to keep the facilities and grounds in tip-top shape for guests. As far as the ridiculous rules go, the air conditioner suggestion is to keep the unit from freezing up because of continual running in an attempt to attain a temperature that is impossible to reach. I do not know what the guest is referring to about placing a limited number of drinks in the refrigerator. Had she reached out to my realtor or myself, these issues would have been addressed and resolved. Regarding the beds, the mattresses are firm and are only a few years old. I'm sorry that she felt that her stay was not worth the money. She stayed for 5 nights and paid less than what's being charged for area hotel rooms even when you figure in cleaning, taxes, and VRBO charges. Additionally, she opted to pay the refundable security deposit rather than purchasing damage insurance - that amount will be returned to the guest (I'm not sure that she realized this when she wrote her review). Area hotel rooms (not 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom units with a living room, kitchen, washer/dryer, and 35' on the water with dockage) are going for a higher price than what was paid. Again, I'm sorry to hear that she was not satisfied. We take pride in making sure that our vacation unit is in the best possible shape for our guests and will continue to do so.
Summer key life and fising
The place was fine. Access to water was the big thing. Small showers and beds dont compare to other places I've rented there and in key west. 2nd visit to venture out. Well run place. Over flow parking was inconvenient
Has everything you will need. Great location for all your Lower Keys adventures!
Had an excellent time. Will stay again!
I'm glad to hear you had an excellent stay. We look forward to you staying at our home again on your next Keys vacation!
nice little place to stay
Enjoyed our stay. Clean and secure place.
Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thanks and we hope you return on your next trip to the Keys!
Perfect location in a peaceful community
We were so happy to have an opportunity to stay in this lovely and charming home. It was perfect for our needs. The owner was very helpful and easy to work with. If you are looking for a quiet spot to base your Key's trip, this is perfect. Just a short drive from Key West or Marathon. It would also be a wonderful location for snowbirds to be able to spread their wings during the winter months.
Thanks for your review. We're glad everything was the way you expected it to be. We take pride in keeping our home in the best condition it can be. Take care and we hope you return the next time you visit the Keys!
This was a beautiful property. Clean, quiet and conveniently located. I would certainly rent it again. It was perfect for 4 people. We dad an amazing week there! The neighbors were friendly and the rental process was easy. We ate at the square grouper and the Wharf, both delicious with great drinks. The Winn Dixie supermarket and Murray's were close by for food shopping. It was about 25 minutes to Key west, perfect for us!
I'm glad everything worked out perfectly for you. We like the convenience to things as well - when you don't want to do a full grocery shopping trip up at Winn Dixie in Big Pine (8 miles away), Murrary's is right around the corner (2 miles). We'd be happy to have you stay at our home again the next time you visit the Keys!
The fishing, diving, and snorkeling in the Lower Keys is, putting it mildly, out of this world! For divers and snorkelers, we are located just 7 miles by boat from Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary - there are dive shops in the area that run trips daily if you do not have your own boat. The fishing in the area waters is outstanding. While not on the water, you can enjoy a trip down to Key West to experience sunset celebration or take a ride on the Conch Tour Train, or head further up the Keys to visit The Theater of the Sea or the Dolphin Research Center. Any time of the year is a great time for a Lower Florida Keys visit!
