Charming house complete with everything you need for a wonderful get away.

  • 5 of 5

We spent 4 days and 3 nights in Phoenix over New Years and had a fantastic time. The house was perfect for 4 adults to hang out and cook, relax, watch movies and just chill. The owner Randy was great to deal with and we will definitely stay here again in the future!

Great Downtown Excape

  • 5 of 5

So enjoyed our Sister weekend here. The house was clean, well appointed, and quiet. We loved the historic feel of the house and the area. Randy went out of his way to take care of our every need and was very quick to answer our questions. Wish our stay could have been longer. Beautiful, restful, relaxing yard as well to enjoy the great weather. Thanks Randy.

Comfortable, well-stocked, and tasteful place to stay - great trip!

There were four of us and we were able to sleep very comfortably. The place was easy to find and in a nice neighborhood. Well decorated and we certainly enjoyed the grill and hot tub!

Cozy and welcoming

  • 5 of 5

Randy's home is lovingly cared for, immaculately clean and very well appointed. It lacks nothing to make your stay in Phoenix relaxing and restful. The beds are very comfortable, the outdoor spaces a wonderful place to spend the morning or evening and a soak in the hot tub a great way to unwind. The location is very convenient to many restaurants and museums. Randy is a gracious host who thoughtfully provides everything you need to enjoy your stay. I highly recommend this home.

All the Modern Touches while Maintaining the Historic Feel

  • 5 of 5

Home was in the historic section of downtown. Randy turned this home into a place you were not wanting to depart from. Combining the best of the modern convienences with lots of antique furnishings and designer touches that helped retain the historic feel. Exterior landscaping was nicely done along with added touches to the front porch that invited you to sit and enjoy the day. Every conceivable item for helping to prepare a gourmet meal was available in the kitchen and a new refrigerator/freezer that made me jealous. Skylight added a nice touch of daylight when preparing breakfast and lunch. Main floor bedroom was large and the bed very comfortable with wraparound windows. Historic feel was again evident in getting used to lowering your head if you were tall when climbing the stairs to the second floor master bedroom. This bedroom again provided wraparound windows with a view of the downtown highrises and a nicely done glassed in shower. Ample closet place throughout the home. Whether on business or pleasure, this home being minutes from downtown and in a nice quiet neighborhood lined with palms makes it a perfect location for anyone visiting Phoenix. Wonderful.

A Tough Act To Follow

  • 5 of 5

A day prior to our arrival, I received a call from Randy indicating the fridge wasn't working and that he would do his best to remedy the situation. That's not exactly what you want to hear the day before arrival, but I wasn't going to stress over it. When we arrived, Randy was there as well as a new fridge.

My adult daughter has a slight germ phobia. She noticed the floors and said it looked as if they had been polished. They did look great; however, I'm accustomed to wearing socks to keep my feet from getting dirty. Prior to getting into bed, I removed my (white) socks, which were totally clean. Really. Randy's property was dirt and dust free from the baseboards to the ceilings, even the rooftop. Yep. The rooftop adjacent to the upstairs bedroom (with a lovely view). I took a picture while lying in bed but don't know if it can be attached.

This property is truly a home, from the furnishings to the fixtures, even the kitchenware. It is decorated nicely and is well-appointed.

I've mentioned a lot of pros. But there's always a con. I don't think I'll ever find another property like this, which is definitely a con.

Randy, you're the perfect host. You and your property are "A Tough Act to Follow."
