About Susan and/or Tim Smith
Tim and I bought this property in September of 2011 and after we retired in April 2012 we moved here to our wonderful new (to us) home. We love the country and this was a great place to us. 71 acres with 2 homes, (we live in the first house) not to large but a good piece to raise cows have our horses, dogs and cats.
Susan and/or Tim Smith purchased this Farmhouse in 2012
Why Susan and/or Tim Smith chose Tyler
We came to Tyler, TX as a friend of my husbands moved here 24 years ago and said we should come visit. We did, and loved the area and found this wonderful property. We live in the 1st house and decided to rent out the other for those that want to vacation in a quiet beautiful country setting. We are not far from Tyler (7mi.) or Lindale (9 mi).
What makes this Farmhouse unique
We love that the homes sit back off the road. The porches on both homes are fantastic to sit on and enjoy the beauty of the trees and pastures with 3 spring fed ponds, watching the different birds and wildlife come through is so refreshing. Both homes are older and we just feel at home and hope ya'll will too.

Great Place to Stay and Relax
We loved staying here! It was very relaxing! We loved watching the horses and cows from our windows and the front porch.
Everything worked great for us!
Everything worked great for us! It was clean and spacious for us and our kids.
This home was a great place to visit and spend Easter with my grandsons. Lots of space, inside and out. The Smiths were great and taught us about their horses, and the house history. Clean and comfortable.
Great stay and great property and just great fun
Susan is very accommodating and helpful, we enjoyed our stay and will book again if we attend the Tyler Quilt Show next year.
Great place to stay.
Mrs. Smith was very accomadating with last minute changes. The property was interesting. A cow had just had a baby calf. The kids caught fish in the pond. We enjoyed the stay.
Ambrea, Ahh the farm life!! It is a bit different than the city, hope y'all enjoyed yourselves and glad you could come and fish as well. God bless you all.
