About Michael Zeller

I'm a socially minded entrepreneur in Nashville, trying to make the world a better place. I specialize in building one of the top real estate teams, Dwell Music City, a socially minded car dealership, and a few other ventures.

I moved here 9 years ago from LA and have lived in many cities around the world including London, Buenos Aires, LA, Lexington, KY and more. And Nashville's my favorite home.

Michael Zeller purchased this house in 2008

Why Michael Zeller chose Nashville

When I travel, I like great food and great drinks and being close to the action. I want convenience. 2-5 mins away from 30 plus locally owned restaurants, 5-10 mins from downtown and only 15 mins from the airport have made this a prime location.

Plus the house is spacious and is great for entertaining.

This home was halfway burned down when I bought it in 2008. I've lovingly restored and updated it to make it one of the nicest homes you'll find on VRBO in Nashville. 10 ft ceilings and even higher in many places. Beautiful finishes throughout, large spacious kitchen ideal for entertaining, great backyard and large spacious rooms.

Nicely appointed with furniture from West Elm (mostly) and brand new tempurpedic and pillow top mattresses. 5 separate beds btw.

Location-can't be beat if you love great dining and drinking. Best neighborhood in town in my opinion and I've sold almost 400 homes around the city.

What makes this house unique

There's a park about a block away and about 5 really good restaurants in a 10 min walk. Rosepepper Catina-best margaritas in town, Eastland cafe, 2-10 jack-sushi and Japanese style ramen and bar. Plus the two best dessert places in nashville: Jeni's ice cream and Five Daughters doughnuts. Oh and two vegetarian restaurants and about 5 others including a good deli market that has great sandwiches that's 2 mins away.

And two coffee houses, ugly mugs and Portland brew. And 5 min drive or less to about 18 more restaurants and bars.

So lots of good options, hence part of the reason I love the location. All of these are about a 5-10 minute walk from the house and only 2-3 minutes driving!

You can catch a short Lyft, Uber, or taxi ride to downtown or the airport and be there in 10 mins or so.

Internet, Netflix, Keurig coffee (Mr. Coffee version).

Perfection!

  • 5 of 5

A group of 10 of us stayed here for a 30th birthday weekend. The house was great, stocked with everything we needed, beds were comfy and there was plenty of closet space! The yard was a nice place to hang out during the day. Quick Uber/Lyft ride to downtown, just make sure you spell the street name correctly on the way home, people ended up in the wrong place a few times!

Great place and location

  • 5 of 5

I would recommend and stay again at the McKenney place . The house was much larger on the inside than the little house you see in the picture. Place was clean and well stocks for our visit.

The home was beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed for a great weekend.

  • 4 of 5

The home was beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed for a great weekend. We rented it for a girl's weekend for my sister's Bachelorette and we all loved it. The only thing I think could be improved on are mirrors in the bedrooms (to make getting ready easier) and better blinds so they can be opened and let the sun in during the day.

The house was pretty close to downtown and many other places.

Weeklong stay for niece's wedding

  • 5 of 5

We certainly enjoyed our stay in your house! Loved how the 4 bedrooms were spaced (one in each corner of the house) and were each very spacious. LR, DR, and kitchen worked out great. Generous parking in the long driveway. Backyard was peaceful and quiet. Location was close to everything- 31, I-24, I-65. Felt comfortable in this neighborhood. Go to the Nashville Biscuit House for breakfast--just right down the street. Even with Bonaroo and the CMA Fest going on, we were able to navigate without any problems and not much difficulty with traffic. Only downfall was that there was only 1 TV which we couldn't get working until day #2--Michael was very helpful with this resolved! Other than that minor detail and the 30 sec button on the microwave being the only functioning button on it, we had a good stay!

Great place to stay while visiting Nashville!

  • 5 of 5

This truly is a great home to stay at while visiting Nashville! Michael, the owner, is extremely responsive and everything is clearly communicated in advance of arriving. The home is very spacious for large groups, the backyard is huge, and it has modern appliances! The bedrooms are all large and stocked with comfortable beds. Michael provides nice "perks" such as coffee and creamer for the Keurig, shampoo/conditioner, plenty of towels, etc. The location is a very quick Uber/Lyft ride to downtown and there are great bars/restaurants close to the home at the Five Points area. We had a great time in Nashville and I would highly recommend this home for others who are looking for a place to stay.

Perfect for groups or families

  • 4 of 5

We loved this house. We had a group of 4 couples and each bedroom was on a different side of the house which made that perfect. All rooms were a nice size and simply, but nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The cab/Uber ride downtown was about $10 plus tip. We all thought that the owner providing coffee, paper products, toiletries and laundry detergent was a very nice touch. Some places we went to in East Nashville that we really enjoyed were the Village Pub, Mitchell Delicatessen, Edley's BBQ (went there twice!) and Red Door Saloon. In the downtown area we enjoyed the pedestrian bridge, 3rd and Lindsley, City Winery and of course, the honky tonks! Stopped at Hermitage Café twice for late night eats on the way home. Lots to do and see in Nashville and we would definitely stay here again. The owner was easily accessible and helpful.
