About Vacasa, UT - Utah Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Great spot, tons of room

  • 5 of 5

This was a great spot for me and my friends to spend a long weekend. The only negative was that the internet didn't work the whole weekend and some of us needed to have access. They did reimburse for not having this service so that was helpful. TONS of bedrooms/bathrooms, space and great gathering area in living/kitchen/dining room. Not far from downtown and mountain. We could walk to Wholefoods and other shops across the street as well. Would recommend to others.

Great location & lay out of house but...

  • 3 of 5

The Bear Hollow location is perfect if you like to follow the snow and experience different resorts as it's an easy drive to all of the mountains. We have stayed at several different houses in Bear Hollow and like the size as they accommodate our large group. The Bobsled House had a great lay out, plenty of space and definitely enough bathrooms. However, it needs to be cleaned better (spider webs in corners, rotten bag of parsley in the refrigerator, crumbs on kitchen floor, dishes in cupboards not clean). In addition, the smell of moth balls was overwhelming, a couple pull strings on lights were broken, the downstairs toilet continuously runs unless you manually push down the flange in the tank, the upstairs smoke detector was missing, the dish washer wheels were broken on the bottom shelf so it did not pull out well, the glass ceiling light in the basement bedroom is broken, cabinets above microwave greasy/slimy, and did I mention the moth ball smell? Attention to detail is key. Should the Bobsled House be given a little more TLC I would love to stay there again. However, for the price we paid there are other houses in Bear Hollow that were in much better shape.

Great house

  • 4 of 5

House was great, lay-out is very convenient, nice amenities, comfy beds, good location, great views. Needs some updated cooking utensils (pans and knives), couldn't get kids room TV to work, owner didn't pay cable bill so we missed 1.5 days of cable, and the hot water heater didn't keep up with 6 adults and 2 kids. Other than that, recommend this house.
