You will love the uniqueness and charm of First Addition. Very safe, mostly quiet, street parking. Close to Lewis and Clark College and Law School, many hospitals, downtown Portland - about 7 miles up Hwy 43. The walk score is 95! The immediate neighborhood is mostly residential, but a few commercial places Kyra's (Gluten free) bakeshop across the street! Barre 3 studio (pilates/ballet) and Spincycle, bars with live music too. The city itself has an amazing art on most corners, fun to explore those. Gosh, I could go on and on. I hope you can tell it is a vibrant little village.
There is a bus line stop at the Safeway, 1.5 blocks away. You can walk to shops, restaurants, frozen yogurt, farmers market, library, banks, post office, Tryon Creek trails, Safeway, 7-11, exercise studios and the Lake itself! All within 6 blocks.
This little guest house is too too cute. It is much cuter than the pictures suggest and looks like a Martha Stewart magazine spread come to life with the most comfy beds. Julie
A wonderful little cottage! Peaceful yet convenient to restaurants and shops. Nice decor and just the right size. Photos represented the house well. I will definitely return. Ann
The guest house was spotless and very welcoming. The bedding was hotel quality A+, same for the bath products and morning snacks. The neighborhood was quiet, quick walk to the lake. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Andrea
