Overview

About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + 1 huge bathroom

This cozy cabin is the perfect mountainside cabin. Surrounded by an entire acre all to yourself. While taking in the fresh mountain air and beautiful scenery of the San Fransico Peaks and the National Forest. Because we back National Forest we have hiking and biking trails right out our door. It is the most peaceful place with the only traffic is a couple of neighbors, and for you skiers you couldn't be closer to the ski area and we are one mile to the enterance to the ski area, yet only 5 miles to the center of Flag. YOU WILL LOVE IT!!

Do you enjoy the adventures that the forest holds? Hiking, biking, skiing? You have found the perfect place. It is all just seconds aways with hiking/biking trails and Snow Bowl mountain across the street.

Or would you rather relax? Lay on the sofa, sit on the deck with a cup of coffee, watch a movie? Then our cabin is perfect for that too. This cozy retreat will make you feel right at home.

We are also located just a few minutes outside historic downtown. Where you can shop, eat, experience the beauty, or even catch a concert.

This is the perfect place for you and your family to enjoy! You will be eager to return again and again.

About The Owner

THIS IS OUR FAMILY CABIN I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS WE DO. PLEASE TREAT IT LIKE YOUR OWN.

The Owner purchased this cabin in 2003

Why The Owner chose Flagstaff

Flagstaff has so much to do and see! It is a close drive to the Grand Canyon or down to Sedona. Flagstaff always has stuff going on like festivals, car shows, live music and more. We like to ski, hike or mountain bike during the day and then hit up the town at night. And when we just want to relax, it is a peaceful sanctuary with the fresh smell of pines and quiet area.

What makes this cabin unique

A lot of vacation rentals in Flagstaff are located in the outskirts of town which can be quite a drive to go into town. We are located close to the town of Flagstaff so it is only a couple minutes drive to downtown Flag.

We back National Forest so there are lots of trails for hiking and biking right behind the cabin.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We have stayed in many cabins with nice settingsbut this is one of the best. The weather and recreation is wonderful here in the summer.

Great cabin in the woods!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time visiting Flagstaff and this rental home is wonderful! We were greeted the first evening by 3 deer in the backyard and the next morning an entire heard of elk were visiting a nearby farm. My kids loved the beautiful deck (and of course the hammock); what a beautiful view and quiet place to enjoy a good read. The kids also loved the loft; they thought the view was amazing and loved having a TV in their room. The house if fully equipped with everything from pots and pans to a blow dryer and lots of throw blankets for the cold mornings. It's a great location; far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown but not too far to enjoy the restaurants. This cabin is the perfect place a ski vacation as it's just across the road from the Snowbowl entrance. We hope to visit again!

Cozy getaway with incredible views!

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. This cozy cabin was perfect for our family of three, although we could have added a few more people easily. Spectacular views of Mt. Humphreys and located on the quieter and more open side of Flagstaff. This property backs right up to the forest, which was perfect for our little explorer. It is also centrally located for most anything you would want to see in and around Flagstaff. The cabin was very clean an offered a few surprising touches. Some of the extras included a crockpot for those long days of exploration as well as a variety of toiletries like shampoo, conditioner and shaving cream in case you forgot to bring them. We brought our own blankets since there was still snow on the ground, but they had enough for everyone. I like that they have taken the time to think about the little details and extras. That tells me they take care of the property well too. This may have to become an annual tradition. Thanks for your hospitality Bob!

Great two weeks!!

  • 5 of 5

Just spent two weeks here. The location was perfect for us, right at the base of Mt. Humphreys with all the hiking trails we could handle. The house was clean and comfortable with the million dollar view of the San Francisco Peaks. We look forward to next year.
