center city and you can walk to many places.
The area is the perfect place to stay for sight seeing, theater, restaurants,
clubs, cultural and sporting events, shopping and more.
After an exciting and fun filled day of sightseeing, shopping, museums and theater you can escape from the fast pace and relax in haven of peace and calm atmosphere...just around the corner from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
Much bigger than most apartments. Rare large private garden & Full Size kitchen & dining area.
In NYC it's all about Location. When you want Center City Location, this is it. You will be surrounded by Attractions, Shopping, Restaurants, Theater and Museums..
Home is a quiet private haven right in the midst of Manhattan. This is a real and upscale neighborhood where you will see New Yorkers and how they really live, where they eat (and not pay tourist prices for food). Walk to many of the tourist areas.... Then come home to the Real New York.
Sit in your private garden and have a cup of tea or a glass of wine while you listen to the birds singing in the trees.
This private place is on a picturesque and much filmed tree lined residential block at Park Avenue with easy access to just about all you want to see and do.
Soho is a quick ride south on the #6 subway. Or you can head north on the #6 to Museum Mile and the Metropolitan Museum.
Have a bite to eat or a satisfying drink when ever you feel like it in a newly renovated full kitchen full stove with oven and full size dishwasher. The kitchen is nicely equipped with microwave, coffee pot, pots and pans, dishes, glassware and flatware.
This is a no smoking apartment.
We are a couple in our sixties, with a lot of experience with vacation homes.
Midtown Manhattan is so great because of the location. It is great having everything so close by. The theater district, Central Park , Brian Park, 42nd St Library, Macy's, Fifth Ave shopping, You can be anywhere in 10 minutes: whether it's to Greenwich Village, Battery Park, Freedom Tower, the farmers market or to Museum Mile. Everything is close by.
It is the best neighborhood in Manhattan. Strategically located, Close to everything in the city. but it is a block away from the hustle and bustle, so it is quiet. Beautiful tree lined block.
Me, my husband, my son and daughter-in-law stayed at this apartment 4 nights and it was a very nice experience. Veronica was easy to work with and is very accommodative. She always replied to my emails promptly and allowed us to check in really early on our arrival day which was so nice since it was snowing when we arrived. The apartment was clean, quiet and close to many attractions. The only slight negative is the pull-out bed in the living room (which is not actually a second bedroom) is not very comfortable. Unfortunately my son and his wife ended up sleeping on the couch - one on each end- instead on pulling the sleeper sofa out.
Stayed at this amazing getaway condo, everything you need is here your home away from home. Very comfortable and clean. Veronica was very accommodating..
Great location, close to Empire State building,, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, Grand Central and of course Macy's,, all within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again, Thank you Veronica we hope to be back soon.
Well located and laid out basement unit apartment excellent for taking in the city. Quiet back bed room, full kitchen 2 1/2 baths and private courtyard for seasonal use. My wife and I spent a week to visit with our kids over Thanksgiving and it worked our well with good responsiveness to our needs.
This was our first trip to New York and we are so grateful to have found this lovely two bathroom apartment in the heart of everything! I can not say enough about this fantastic location. Only a short walk to Grand Central Station and great restaurants. And yet, located in a quite, beautiful tree lined residential area. We brought my wife's best friend along for her birthday and the two separate sleeping areas and bathrooms worked out quite well. It was also nice to have a full kitchen, which we used for eating in on several occasions. A washer, dryer and two separate cable TVs in each sleeping area was nice as well. We would like to extend a big thank you to Veronica for being so helpful and courteous answering all of our questions and making us feel at home. We are planning on a return trip and will definitely stay here again.
My sister, her husband, and I stayed in this apartment for a week. It is in a great location, close to many iconic NYC sites, on a safe, quiet street off Park Ave. Prior to our arrival, Veronica was slow in responding to questions about gaining access. When we did arrive, she was an hour late, and we had to wait on the sidewalk with our luggage. She then could not get the lock to open. She eventually resolved that problem and brought us a bottle of wine as an apology for her tardiness, which we appreciated. She is a pleasant, friendly manager, and she responded quickly when the lock malfunctioned later in the week.
We had some issues with the apartment. All three of us have had experience with VRBO and other vacation rental properties. Most are as described, some are better, but this one was disappointing. It just didn't live up to its description or to the five-star reviews. It is described as a "one bedroom that can be converted to 2 bedrooms with total privacy." There is no way to make the living room, which has the sofa-bed, private since it is completely open to the kitchen. This was not a problem for us but could be if two couples were sharing the apartment. While clean on the surface, certain areas, such as the insides of some cabinets, were dirty, and the carpet was quite soiled. The master bath floor was sticky, and the sink faucet was very loose. Several light bulbs were burned out. There were also a number of bugs, living, dead, or dying, that appeared during the week. Veronica had informed us that a pest company regularly treated the apartment, so we were dismayed to find cockroaches. The kitchen, described as well-equipped, had lots of wine glasses, but only one drinking glass, one cereal bowl, and no serving bowls. The stove rocked, and the burners were askew, making them difficult to use. The dishwasher was unstable.
The apartment is below street level. It has a nice patio outside the bedroom, but there aren't many windows. Half of one of the two small windows in the living room is taken up by the air conditioner, and the huge sectional, too large for the space, makes it impossible to reach the mini-blinds to let in natural light. The only other window is in the bedroom at the back of the apartment. As a result, it felt like we were in a cave during our stay.
To summarize, the location is ideal. With better maintenance and attention to detail, this apartment could be amazing!
Great location, comfortable and had everything we needed to make our trip very enjoyable. Veronica met us at the apartment and gave us the tour and help on what to do.
Close to subway, 1.5 blocks to station and 1 stop from Grande Central so easy to get anywhere in and around NY.
Like a previous review the sofa bed is a little rough, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the apartment.
Unfortunately is was extremely hot the week we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the patio as the heat and humidity were too much for us. Quite, sheltered from early light and easy to get a great nights sleep. Lot's of eating choices near by and a very safe feeling area.
The local merchants were friendly and very helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to go back to this apartment on another trip to NY.
