The North Idaho Centennial Trail is a 24 miles (39 km) paved trail in Idaho used for transportation and recreational activities. Extending from Higgins Point on the northeast side of Lake Coeur d'Alene, a popular place for bald eagle watchers in early winter, the trail follows the lake's north shoreline to the Spokane River where it follows it to the Idaho/Washington border. On the other side of the state border, the trail becomes the Spokane River Centennial Trail and extends for another 37 miles (60 km) out to Sontag Park in Nine Mile Falls, Washington. The trail passes through the towns of Post Falls, Idaho and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

I am an Idaho native and think you cannot beat North Idaho in the summertime with our great weather, and beautiful lakes and mountains. My husband and I have four children and enjoy boating, jet skiing and fishing in the summer, and the occasional trip to the mountains in the winter.
Jeff purchased this chalet in 2007
We purchased this property because we love the area and think Lake Coeur d'Alene is one of the greatest lakes for summer recreation in the country! Waterfront is the Place to be :)

THX 4 SHARING UR "GUEST HOUSE" LOVED IT! WAYNE
My wife and I were looking for a short get away. We were interested in the Spokane/Coeur D'Alene area as our friends recommended this area. We decided to stay in Post Falls.
I cannot begin to express how happy we were with this stay. The sunrise on the river is unbelievable! The Guest house is very clean and provides every amenity you will need.
The area of Port Falls and Coeur D'Alene is gorgeous and there is no shortage of great places to eat.
The Owners were very friendly and accommodating.
I would highly recommend a stay here and I cant wait to go back.
I lucked out when someone recommended this place for my two week stay in Idaho. I went into the business related trip thinking theres nothing to do in Coeur D'Alene - I'll be bored to tears after a day. As it turned out the trip was exactly the mental and physical recharge I so desperately needed. The very accommodating owner and his lovely wife were there when I arrived and promptly helped get me settled before showing me around the property providing me with answers, recommendations and even a warmer jacket to borrow which, being from Florida, hadn't even crossed my mind.
If you're in or around Coeur D'Alene Lake for business, pleasure or a combination of the two it is with highest regards I recommend staying here.
This guesthouse on the Spokane river was even better than the pictures show, very comfortable living arrangements for our ten day stay. Quiet serene setting with deer wandering through the property munching on apples. Nearby chickens and close to walking trails, we will be back !!!
We were greeted upon arrival, with a property tour. The property is located in a very nice setting. The property has a electronic door lock which did not work.
The following day we had to leave our belongings in the unit unlocked so the door could be repaired.
We returned that night and the door was locked with no way for us to get inside.
After about a hour we gained access to the unit so we could go to sleep.
It's too bad that the stay was marred by the lock incident.
This apt. Is adequate for an overnight but not for two months. The linens, cutlery ,cookware looked like it came from the thrift store. No adequate lighting to read by. Bed extremely uncomfortable. No hardware on any of the cabinets. Only a hand vacuum and no adequate ironing board. Very limited access t o the waterfront, only when the main house is not rented.
We stayed in this beautiful Waterfront Guest House for five nights and had a wonderful time.
The Guest House is absolutely immaculate and the mattress and bedding were nothing short of heavenly.
We had the best nights' sleep ever! The furniture in the living room was also very clean and comfortable.
The Kitchen had all the amenities we needed and the local restaurants were lovely!
The area was perfect for all our adventures and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in northern Idaho.
The rental met all our needs......was very cozy and relaxing after our fun days on the water.....fishing was great on the lake also!
The owners took great care to make sure we had everything needed. It is a prime vacation rental.
We are planning on returning for a full 2 weeks if not longer!!!!
Thank you for the great experience and we look forward to returning!!!
