About Edward J. Rusher

Eleanor and Edward and their two sons visited Delray Beach several years ago and fell in love with area. They acquired this home to have an escape from the recently bitter cold winters of New England. They enjoy all the Amenities that Delray beach Community has to offer and the easy getaway to warmer weather!

Edward J. Rusher purchased this cottage in 2013

Why Edward J. Rusher chose Del Ida Park Historic District

We love the historic district and our cottage and we didn't want to have to drive anywhere when on vacation. We can walk, bike or scooter to Atlantic Ave to eat and shop. Also, we ride our bikes to the beach and parks with our young boys.

What makes this cottage unique

Perfectly located close to everything. A 1926 Spanish Mission Style home with loads of charm, coziness, and a manageable size.

Lovely home, terrific location

  • 5 of 5

We spent a long weekend here in early May and it was very enjoyable. The home is as advertised - and frankly looks even better 'in real life.' The cottage is perfectly comfortable, and it is evident that the owners take great care of this property. The home was very clean and had almost everything you would need. Edward was extremely responsive. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Clean, centrally located house

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay. The home is clean, well appointed and spacious. It’s close to beaches, supermarkets and the downtown area. The owner was very helpful and provided a great overview of nearby attractions. We will stay here on our next trip to Delray.

A very enjoyable stay ...

  • 4 of 5

We had a very enjoyable stay. The house was clean and well-equipped and the owner was very responsive to our questions or needs. The Del Ida Park area is a very cool part of Delray and appeared to be much less travelled than the beach area. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to return to this cool little cottage.

Great house in a great location

  • 5 of 5

This cute relaxed house is in meticulous condition and looks to be newly renovated while keeping the charm. Pictures on line are accurate . We loved the backyard area which has a covered cupola , lawn chairs and umbrella table. The kitchen is well equipped. Loved the 30 min walk to the beach and 15 min walk to Atlantic Ave. We did not meet the owner Edward but he was very responsive to our questions and needs. I highly recommend this cottage.
