About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

It was a nice family friendly area. The surrounding neighbors were very nice. The house was in decent condition only problems were the fridge that didn't close and the freezer would never get cold enough to keep our food frozen.

Home has potential, just way too many issues between broken items and bad housekeeping

Nice house.

  • 4 of 5

Very nice house. It appears they are in process of trying to sell the house which is saddening because we would enjoy the chance to stay there again. The house is very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone. The decor is very nice and some things look antique. I did not realize that was on the main road out of town, but although the traffic goes by at a high speed it was not loud.

We had a few minor issues that did not really effect our stay. But may be more of an issue for others.

1. upstairs shower has a temperature restriction. Even on full hot it was barely above warm so that in the spacious room I was cold under the water. I say that because the kitchen sink was plenty hot washing dishes

2. Ants in kitchen cabinet above coffee maker, and counter. A previous renter had left an open bowl of sugar. We removed the sugar but the ants will keep coming in until treated

3. Nice china dishes and silver... too nice, fear breaking them with kids and none are safe for microwave. A few plastic or other microwave friendly dishes would be nice addition.

4. Fridge only closes if push it completely closed. I know this is something we were not used to doing so had to watch it.

5. Patio doors are really difficult to open

6. back two burners on stove would not light

7. chair at dining room table is missing horizontal support piece between the legs. So there is nothing to secure the legs. It is very wobbly. I would not let anyone sit there for fear it would break and someone would get hurt.

8. No privacy curtains in lower level bedroom with window to neighbors house. It does have sheer lacy curtains but offers no privacy.

9. Phones in house are not functional. The paper work says if have a problem to call, but the phones do not work. Internet is spotty on main level.

Owner's Response: We are glad to see this guest enjoyed their stay despite a few hiccups. The Property Manager has maintenance working on the hot water in the shower and will have them repair the dining chair as well as replace the seal on the fridge door. The home has been treated for ants, we have added child-proof dishes and microwave safe dishes, and the curtains will be replaced. The patio door lock must be turned while lifting the handle - this is a child-safety feature. Thank you!
