Place was nice and roomy. Living room , hard wood floor, big screen TV, Masters bedroom and Bathroom
I had a lovely time there for the three night. Modern kitchen and appliance very comfortable place to be in and not too far from everything. The only thing that I did not notice when I was looking for a place was if it was on the first floor. I realized this Condo was on the top floor after purchase. Be side having to climb those stairs daily everything else was great. Thank-you
Clean and comfortable, but needs some repairs and communication needs improvement
First of all, I must say that the condo is very nice on the inside. It is clean, the beds are comfy and the air worked well during our hot stay.
We had no trouble finding parking directly in front of the building, but the abandoned storefronts and neighborhood, in general needs improvement.
The Orange line train station is down the street and parking is $5 there. It was pretty convenient, but would have been a hike without the car.
Lack of communication before our stay was the biggest negative. It was very late the night before our arrival after many emails, calls and contact through HomeAway before we got entry instructions. Because of this, my friend booked a hotel room for the first night as she didn't want to show up to no place to stay.
A few minor things didn't work or needed repair:
All outlets on one side of the Living Room were non-working. Hulu was not functional.
As previously noted, more towels, coffee cups and glasses are needed, as well as a salt shaker.
Overall, despite the above-mentioned issues, we enjoyed our stay and the place fit our needs.
Nice place close to United Center
Come for NHL Draft - Nice & very clean place only $11 with Lyft to United Center - recommend
Very clean & fair price
Big & clean , perfect access to downtown
Sweet Home Chicago!
4.5 Stars is the perfect review for this property....initially I was confused by the stairs in the photos, the stairs lead to the roof, the property is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. I have stayed in hi-rises in downtown Chicago and when the city wakes up, you wake up. This property sits on a main thoroughfare that is quite busy, yet you hear NO OUTSIDE NOISE! The place was clean, the beds slept wonderfully, nice appliances, rainfall shower in the master. Everything we needed was provided.....especially when we found ourselves locked out of the unit! The property owner was there in less than 30 minutes to let us in, my HERO! The neighborhood is racially diverse and has an industrial feel, public transportation (bus line) steps from the doorway, the train is about 1/2 a mile away, Jewel/Osco (Smiths) close by, perfect price, perfect location, gracious and perfect property owners. We would stay here again!
Nice condo with a lot of space!
Overall it was a beautiful condo with tons of space for multiple adults. Very clean and management was highly responsive!
Few suggestions would be more cups (only 4 large cups), more towels available and make sure all advertised amenities are in working order. (Fireplace & bathtub were missing parts and broken due to that). This would not stop me from recommending the condo though!!!
Welcome to our Condo! With a 15-20 minute drive you can get to downtown museums, restaurants, Navy Pier, nightlife, The 'Bean', Ice skating (winter season), Water Tower on Michigan Avenue, Shopping on State Street, or take a Ferry ride on Lake Michigan. Or visit our Planetarium while have a leisurely walk with an ice cream. Go visit the Lincoln Park Zoo. Or just go on a bike ride up and down the lake front. Or how about a Chicago Blackhawks game or a Bears game? Whatever you choose to do you will totally love it here! Enjoy your visit.
