YOU CAN ONLY RENT THIS PROPERTY THROUGH HOUND EARS CLUB.... CALL Denise Jarvis (Hound Ears Rental) at 336-262-4040 and she will walk you through process........ We have a 3 day Min. stay... Updated two level, 4 private suites (4 bedrooms – 4 bathrooms) home on a 1/3 acre lot with breathtaking views of Grandfather Mountain, the mountain ridge and portions of the Hound Ears Golf Course. Central heat and air on the upper level and a built-in dehumidifying system on the lower level , two stone fireplaces, wood burning downstairs and gas logs on the main level provides comfortable living conditions.

Updated kitchen with granite countertops, new appliances including a gas range. Wood floors adorn the main level living area, with new carpets throughout the remainder of home. An abundance of closet space with one upper level walk-in closet remodeled to serve as a utility room, with the washer/dryer located therein. Lower level has a wonderful wet bar and wood burning fireplace for entertaining guests. Each of the two levels contain 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms private suites with a unique floor plan that maximizes personalized space for family and guests alike, and are connected with a spiral staircase to maximize living area. In addition, the lower level contains a queen sofa bed providing a total sleeping capacity 10-12 for the home. The lower area has easy access from outside with direct entry or by spiral staircase from above.

Covered decks on both levels take in the awesome mountain and golf course views. Likewise, all 4 bedrooms and the living areas share the same view through glass sliding doors. Very unique for homes in this area is the abundance of parking, the upper level providing space for 2 vehicles and a carport converted to a Spanish Courtyard, while the lower area easily parks 3 and provides ground level access to the downstairs. As noted and worth repeating, full covered porches are located on both levels with views that are simply magnificent. Elevation of the property is approximately 3200 feet.

Temporary club memberships are available. The renter is not entitled to the use of club facilities unless the renter purchases a Temporary Membership at the rate of $100 per day for a minimum of a three (3) day period. This equals $700 for a week or $300 for 3 days. In addition, the renter will be charged the daily golf guest fee on the days they play golf (good for the holder plus 4 guests - 2 couples could share cost). More than 5 guests requires additional temporary membership purchase.

My name is Tom and my wife is Barbara. We are in our 70’s and have managed to collect 15 grandchildren along the way. Our family has been coming to this region for over 25 years and we have been enthralled with the people, their culture and history, the magnificent views, the festivals and the art and music shows and of course the culinary delights. 14 years ago we decided to purchase this home and have never regretted it.

Great Location with Fabulous View of Grandfather Mountain

Lodging: 4 suites with baths -good for multiple families. Well equipped kitchen(even some spices and basic supplies, casserole dishes, baking dishes, drip coffee maker) Dining table seating for 6-8. (Larger groups must use living area seating). Flat screen TV and Blu ray DVD with movies available for kiddos. Lower level wood burning fireplace with sofa and small round table with short stools (good for kids). Limited seating but service counter, wet bar, small frig and stools behind Fireplace. Older style TV in LL- no DVD only VHS not working. Spiral staircase access to LL. 2 levels of decks with great views. Outdoor fire pit. Pictures depict actual furnishings.

Great Location between Blowing Rock and Boone. Private gated community with gated access. Several ski slopes nearby about 35 minutes. Also Linville Falls for hiking.

Great floor plan and location.

Nice floor plan. Four couples and each had a private bedroom and bathroom. Great location. Could use a few updates but overall it was good. well worth the price.

Charming House For Mountain Weekend!

Our stay was comfortable while in Boone for a tennis tournament. The house had four separate bedrooms and baths which was perfect for four couples. The community provided nice amenities to enjoy, and the views were fantastic of the mountains. The owner provided all the information needed to make our stay comfortable and was easy to work with. Would stay here again without question!

Great vacation home! Perfect for 2 families

We stayed Labor Day weekend and had a great time! The 2 bedrooms up and 2 bedrooms down make it nice for 2 families. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, etc. deck is big and lovely to sit out in the cool mountain air. Our kids had fun playing in the driveway, courtyard area (which has been converted from a carport to a sitting area) and deck. We brought their scooters and they had a blast riding around the huge driveway and courtyard. Very conveniently located to all the area has to offer. Just a great place to stay!
