Great Thanskgiving stay

  • 5 of 5

Great property. Close to everything we wanted to do and close to family. The apartment is in excellent condition and Paul answered every question in a very timely fashion. We will stay again.

Fabulous! Perfect location, lovely apartment, great host!

  • 5 of 5

I’ve stayed in VRBO apartments all over Europe and the UK and this was one of the best. I would definitely stay here again!

Its location, in a charming street in beautiful Beacon Hill, is so convenient you can walk to most places or catch the T which has stations close by at Bowdoin (less than 5 minutes) or Charles/MGH (less than 10) or even Government Center is only a 10 minute walk.

There’s a Whole Foods right at the end of the street , plus 2 wine shops and a pharmacy, as well as many restaurants within easy walking distance.

The apartment itself is lovely. It has everything you need to be comfortable and to cook if you want to, and everything is good quality - it feels more like a home than a rental.

I was there during the January blizzard and it was warm and cozy.

Paul is a terrific host - he replied very quickly to any queries, and made sure I knew I would be looked after during the blizzard if it caused any problems. I felt like a valued guest, rather than just a renter.

Thank you, Paul!

Perfection location and accommodations for a couple in the city

  • 5 of 5

First of all, the apartment is well decorated, cleanly, spacious, and comfortable. This place does not feel cramped or outdated at all. A few things to highlight: the shower/tub was huge and had jets, two bathrobes were provided, complimentary water bottles and snacks were left out, and coffee and tea were provided. This unit is on the ground floor which allowed for easy access to both the front door and laundry room which was in the basement. Please also note that the washer/dryer requires quarters, but that is hardly a complaint.

The location was incredible. We walked to all of major landmarks and restaurants. You are close to everything including the Boston Garden, Freedom Trail, Boston Common, Cambridge, North End, etc. However, if you don't want to walk then an Uber would be very cheap. It was also a short ride to the airport.

Lastly, the owner, Paul, was an incredible host. We spoke to him prior to arrival and he was very accommodating and thoughtful. We spoke to him a couple of times over the phone and he had great recommendations. Overall, we really appreciated his hospitality.

I can't imagine renting a different property for our next visit.

Location, Location, location!

  • 5 of 5

We just checked out this morning after 3 days. The location is ideal: close to a market, pharmacy and other shopping, the T, Boston Commons and the Freedom trail. The apartment is super comfortable- even the fold out bed in the living room was AMAZING! Flooring, appliances, everything is new and modern. Paul, the owner, contacted us a few days before arrival with precise instructions and gave us his cell phone number for calling or texting any questions. He could not have been friendlier or more accommodating! If we return to Boston, we will try to rent this place again!

Very convenient location. Walked everywhere we wanted to visit

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was so comfortable. I was impressed with the comfort of the bed, the bright lights available for cooking and the soft light available in the living area. We arrived to unprecedented heat in Boston. It was hot! Our host graciously hooked up air for us, even though heat is required to be ready and available on September 15 and air is not really expected to be used.Paul was willing to do anything he could to make our stay comfortable. The one difficulty we had was unloading and loading our luggage. We were on a 13 day trip through Maine and ending in Boston. Paul gave us great advice on a place to park our car while there. However when unloading and loading our luggage, it was a bit stressful. The trade off is you are within walking distance of most of the Boston sites and great restaurants.
