Beautiful home, superb location!
We had a wonderful stay (4 nights) and everything was perfect. Close enough to town but felt pleasantly rural (deer in the garden!). The red barn is so well cared for and stocked with everything we could have needed. It was very neat and clean on arrival and everyone had a super stay. Our party of seven ranged in age from 3 to 80 and the house was ideal for all. Highly recommended!
Just wonderful ! a perfect 10
What a delightful 4 night getaway we savvy senior ladies had at the beautiful " Red Barn". We now have traveled together often enough to appreciate how special this house and location was. It now sets the bar so much higher to meet for our next journey. This house had EVERYTHING you could ever want in the most serene setting.
Absolutely perfect in every way!
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and we couldn't have been more delighted with the whole experience. The Barn is absolutely beautiful and the pictures you n the website (even though they are wonderful ) do not do it justice. The whole barn is very tastefully decorated and in keeping with its age. The furniture is very comfortable and the whole place is exceptionally clean. We had everything we needed for the stay and more and the location, the garden, the outside furniture and BBQ all added to a fantastic stay. Club de to the lovely town of Great Barrington, fabulous trails and good restaurants.
On the occasions I contacted Laura she got back to me straight away.
Even though we were only a party of two the place would easily accommodate 10 comfortably. I would definitely return and can't recommend it highly enough! Thanks Laura.

Great Weekend with Friends
This was the second year in a row my college friends and I chose to stay at Restored Barn home. It was even better the second time around. Great layout and nice outdoor space. My group was a mix of couples and families and it worked out well for everyone. The open floor plan of the kitchen and living room makes for a great social aspect. The home is minutes from town and a number of nearby activities. This year we spent some time over at Butternut and then ventured over to Hilltop Winery. All and all a great weekend!
Beautiful property inside and out, conveniently located to the town of Great Barrington. Small lake (pond) within easy walk, with accessible trails and swimming. Lots of things to do and see in the general area. Owner very accommodating, would love to come back.
A gorgeous, comfortable home with plenty of room in a great location
We retuned to the red barn for a second year after our wonderful stay last year. The second time around was as comfortable and relaxing as the first. We enjoyed the beautifully appointed, clean, ample space and well equipped kitchen. From the house we easily rode our bikes to nearby Lake Mansfield and to town (though be ready for the hill on the way back). We cooked many of our own meals and enjoyed hours reading on hammocks, playing ping pong and watching movies as well as exploring the many glories of the Berkshires.
