Brand new 2 story 1000 sq ft indoor & 1000 sq ft outdoor, 2 bdr, 2 full baths

Come enjoy our recently built, beautifully appointed retreat by the sea. It boasts the best ocean and beach views in our boutique development and is fashionably decorated in a comfortable, bohemian-beach style with furnishings and art from around the world. THE RESORT

Situated in a boutique resort, Villas De Cerritos Beach offers 24 hour security, a casual pizza, pasta and salad open air restaurant (hours are subject to change based on season), pool, jacuzzi, maids service and community palapa. Palapa can be reserved for private events.

THE VILLA

It's all about indoor-outdoor living in Baja.

Villa de los Lobos was just completed in May 2014 and offers 1000 sq. ft of beautiful indoor living space in a 2 story villa with a roof top viewing deck. We are the last home at the end of the development with no adjoining walls to neighbors and open land and ocean/beach views to the right of us. It's a rare unit!

With over 1000 sq ft of private decks and outdoor living space you can enjoy comfy lounging, outdoor shaded dining & entertaining and an open air shower. The main Terraza offers entertaining for larger parties.

BEDROOMS

We offer two suites. The master is the only room upstairs and has an attached full bath, walk in closet and private deck with ocean views and leather lounging chairs. Right outside the door to the master is also a spacious 2nd floor viewing deck with a spiral staircase leading to the roof top deck.

The 2nd Bedroom is on the main floor with a full bathroom next to it and a large closet and a sliding door out to the main large patio.

Each Queen Suite offers bamboo pillow top mattresses and high-end bedding, pillows linens and towels. The entire Villa boasts ocean and mountain views from almost every room and 360 degree views from the grand roof-top deck.

THE KITCHEN

The kitchen comes well-appointed with a four burner stove/oven, a copper farm sink, pantry, authentic talavera tiles and fully stocked with everything you'll need during your stay. A full size Washer & Dryer included! Outdoor BBQ on the patio for grilling.

THE FAMILY ROOM

The beautifully decorated family room offers a smart TV, wifi, Blue Ray and a full size memory foam pull-out sofa sleeper. It's open concept layout, high ceilings and large sliding doors out to the main patio make you really experience indoor/outdoor living. A comfy sectional couch, floor cushions and a leather chair are perfect for lounging. I've seen a whale breach standing in this room!

THE AREA

We're just a 10 minute walk to the famous Cerritos surf break and one of the most safe and swimable beaches in the whole Cabo area. We're neighbors to the famous surf and fishing town of Pescadero and just a 15 minute drive to the historical and majestic town of Todos Santos. Grab some beach towels and take a walk to the Cerritos Beach Club. You can enjoy a beach massage or just relax the day away in their loungers while they serve you food and cocktails all day. It's dreamy!

Calling all foodies! There are more delicious restaurants than you can possibly visit during an average vacation. Surrounded by the richest farm lands and fishing spots, you will enjoy a wide array of culinary styles from farm-to-table to sushi to traditional Mexican. About Karen Quimby

Northern California natives and now Southern California residents, we've traveled the world and found no where we would more rather be than Cerritos Beach. When we discovered this magical place, we worked hard year after year to finally purchase our Mexican dream. With demanding careers, this home is our rest and recharge destination. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.

Karen Quimby purchased this house in 2014

Why Karen Quimby chose Baja California Sur

Because it's truly magical! We have been visiting this area for 10 years and though we have traveled to many places in the world, this was where we wanted our vacation home. After years of doing day trips, we decided to stay for a week and we were absolutely hooked! We actually built our home in that same boutique development we first stayed in because we liked it so much.

The area fit our lifestyle. We are casual people that enjoy rest good food, locally owned businesses, historical architecture and a little adventure. Cabo is great for the day but has become a little too hurried for our taste so this laid back slow pace it pure peace. There are so many things to do and see here that we still have a long list to conquer.

The land has a spiritual and peaceful feeling. The mornings are breathtaking, the sunsets are surreal and the beach is like no other. While the waves are are known as some of the best in the Cabo area for surf, the beach is one of the safest. You can play in the low rolling waves all day without fear of a rough under toe. It's a peaceful beach that stretches for miles with just a few homes and small developments peppered in. There are few vendors and lots of good people just enjoying some some good r & r with friends and family.

You really have to experience it yourself to know how truly special this area is. It makes us happy to know that our home might be a place where good friends and families make their own lifetime memories.

What makes this house unique

-ocean and mountain views from almost every rooms

-authentic design details and unique furnishings that feel like home but better!

-designed with relaxation and comfort as our top priority

-last unit in the development with no adjoining walls next to open land and ocean views so it's peaceful and private

Our family recently chose the above accommodation for our vacation destination and were nothing but thrilled with the end result! The property is impeccably maintained, tastefully decorated and stocked with everything you could want or need. Karen is amazing to communicate with. She anticipated our every need with emails regarding arrival info, car rentals, insurance, restaurant recommendations, excellent beaches, attractions, and what not. We will definitely rent this property again. Thank you Karen for making our trip unforgettable!

Beautiful, comfortable and well planned!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying in Villas de Cerritos. The villa was so amazing. All the outdoor areas were so lovely and gave you not only more space, but a seperate lovely view/surrounding. The beds were wonderfully comfy, and all the little things were thought of for you. From the bottled water, soap, shampoo, to the sharp knives in the kitchen, thank you. We have rented alot of vacation homes, this place was perfect for us!

Great off the beaten path getaway

  • 5 of 5

We are a family of 4 and really enjoyed our stay. The home is very cozy and clean and the property is just as beautiful as the pictures indicate. The kitchen is well equipped despite being on the small size (and we cook a great deal on vacation). We appreciated the plentiful beach towels and beach accessories (boogie boards, chairs, umbrella). The beach is close and absolutely walkable. However, if you are carrying a lot of stuff, there is also parking at the beach. If you spend $6 at the restaurant, its free. A note about the beach. The area is known to not have great swimming beaches. Cerritos is considered a swimable beach and we enjoyed time in the ocean everyday with a 7 and 9 yr old. However, the rip tides are no joke and adults and children alike need to be cautious.

As frequent VRBO user, I was impressed with the timely response from the owner as well as her making sure all the bases were covered. The onsite staff were very nice and helpful anytime we needed something. This is a great property.

This is a property that is located in a quiet part of the Baja. Although the property and pool area are awesome and high quality, the area itself is still being developed. This is a vacation site for those who enjoy a quieter, off the beaten path Mexico. If you are looking for a place with lots of nightlife and tourist sites, this location may not be the best option. However, if you like to chill by the pool, hop the waves and relax this is a most wonderful place. There's great local food and plenty of ex pats to offer some more comforts of the US. Todos Santos has great art if that's your thing.

Beautifully Decorated & Convenient to the Beach

  • 5 of 5

We had a great 4 night stay in Karen's place this past February. It was beautifully decorated, clean and an all around comfortable place. The sheets and bedding were a special treat, so much so that I've inquired into how I can purchase my own! Having stayed in numerous VRBO rentals, I was very impressed by the quality and attention to detail found here, making it one of the best rental experiences I've had so far. Karen was extremely helpful in providing us a list of things to do and places to eat in the area. The restaurant in Rancho Pescadero, Hortaliza Hierbabuena, Free Souls and the sushi restaurant in Todos Santos were all highlights and definitely worth trying. It was rainy and a bit windy during our stay so we were unable to surf but had a great time checking out Todos Santos and the surrounding area. We spent the first 3 nights of our Southern Baja adventure fishing and paddleboarding in the Sea of Cortez out of El Sargento (a must do!) and were very excited to get to see the other side of Baja and experience all it had to offer. A great place and stay!

What a great place!

  • 5 of 5

This home is incredibly comfortable, well appointed and superbly maintained. Favorites include the decor, the beds and the courtyard, which was a wonderful place to end or start the day. The location is perfect as you can see and hear the ocean, but are far enough away that you can also enjoy the beautiful desert and wildlife (mostly birds).

Cerritos Beach was also a great find for us. Though we are not surfers, we could boogie board, or body surf or just play in the waves. Lots of friendly dogs and friendly people. Also lots of dirt roads for morning hikes with excellent views for whale watching. And the towns of Todos Santos and Pescaderos a short drive away for shopping, additional sightseeing and restaurants. We will return.

Love Love Love LOVE!

  • 5 of 5

Home was FANTASTIC! This unit was one of the nicest and is the end unit at what I would consider the nicest complex in Cerritos. Plenty of privacy and the most lovely of outdoor spaces. We watched the sunrise and light up the Cerritos surf break every morning without even having to leave the bed...speaking of which, was incredibly comfortable. The house has everything you need to stay for however long. Make a Costco run on your way in and you are set for the week. Karen has equipped the home with everything you will need for your stay, whether you plan to cook at home inside or out on the huge bbq grill while enjoying the ridiculously charming patio. She even has even graciously left a cooler, beach chairs, towells, and an umbrella for you to take to the beach as well.

About the immediate area and the complex. I recommend looking at an aerial google map view of the area and familiarizing yourself with the location prior to going on your vacation. It is all dirt road from the highway to the condo complex and to the beach. We were in a rental car and were just fine getting there and exploring the entire area. The complex has a swimming pool that is great and a hot tub that was also really great for soaking iin at the end of the day. There is a restaurant/pizza place right there next to the pool area (Napolis) that made by far the best pizza we had the entire time we were there and it was pretty cheap. We also tried the new free souls restaurant there in "town" and it was worth going to for sure. The cocktails were pretty decent, albeit expensive, but the ceviche was the one thing to brag about. So good. Cerritos beach is just a 2-3 minute walk front he front door of the condo unit. Just the perfect amount to stretch the legs before going out for a swim.

Other must do's:

-Palm Beach. Literally a five minute drive north right past pescadero. Very cool. Sort of hard to find. Again, use google earth/maps to see where it is located and the dirt road you need to turn on...as there are no signs.

-Todos Santos. Great little town. Tons of places to eat that are very good.

-Balandra Beach. It is over by La Paz and a 1:20 minute drive, but so worth it. So so worth it. Just don't stop at any taco stands on the way back through La Paz unless you want to wake up feeling like you have the dengue fever and are about to give birth to quintuplets. TMI. :/

-El Triunfo. Maybe an hour drive towards La Paz. Fantastic little cafe.
