Go back in time with all the modern comforts!

This home is a beautiful piece of history in a park like setting. It's decor is like something you'd see in a magazine and the home accommodated 10 of us easily. Children will love the loft and we all enjoyed spending time by the pool during the day. At night we roasted marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace which was a great feature. The house is less than an hour from Killington, Burlington, and other attractions. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend this rental to anyone.

Beautiful, historical home with plenty of space and amenities

  • 5 of 5

Our extended family stayed at this home at the end of June. We were a group of 9 (5 adults and 4 small girls). The house is huge! We didn't even use most of the rooms downstairs. There are 3 separate sitting areas downstairs, a formal dining room and a kitchen. We spent the majority of our time outside on the patio, by the outdoor fireplace or in hot tub or pool. Unfortunately, the hot tub broke while we were there but we enjoyed the other outdoor areas. Upstairs there are 5/6 bedrooms. Again, we didn't use all of the bedrooms but did enjoy being being able to spread out. Be warned, there is no air conditioning. Luckily the evenings were cool while we were there but it did get warm in the house during the afternoons. This house is a little off the beaten path. It was quite a drive to many of the places we visited (Woodstock, Long Trail Brewery, hikes) but we didn't mind the beautiful, scenic drives. And, the house has so much to offer, you could spend an entire weekend there! We would definitely recommend this house for any season. It is close to many ski areas and mountains as well! If you appreciate the charm that comes with an older house, along with modern amenities (pool, hot tub, modern kitchen and bathrooms), this house will definitely not disappoint!

Spacious and Wonderful House

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a weekend of skiing at Killington. The house was wonderful and very spacious. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. The owner, Jill, was very responsive.

Beautiful home w/ an amazing kitchen & hot tub

  • 5 of 5

First of all, Jill is super responsive and helpful, and everything about the listing is spot on! The home is huge and beautiful, with an absolutely amazing kitchen! My group enjoyed the Hot Tub very much, as well as the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. It's less than 30 minutes from Killington. I look forward to coming back!

This house was incredible!

  • 5 of 5

The home was very accommodating and exceeded all of our expectations! Even though we didn’t want to leave the warm and cozy house, some of the girls were able to ski two different mountains this past weekend, both were about a 30 minute drive away. The fireplace was the perfect way to end our day on the slopes. It was right next to the kitchen allowing us to cook, listen to music and enjoy the fire as a group. Jill was always accessible and answered all of our questions. The kitchen included every appliance one can think of and Jill also made sure we had plenty of bath and beach towels for when we got in and out of the hot tub. We cannot wait to come back!! We are already planning our next trip. Very spacious and lovely home! Thanks Jill!

Beautiful and cozy!

  • 5 of 5

This property couldn't be more beautiful and well kept. This was our second MLK weekend getaway here, and we loved it so much that half of the guests barely left the property during our 3 night stay. The other guests enjoyed themselves at Killington which is an easy 25 minute drive. We made use of the industrial sized kitchen, the kitchen/living area fireplace, the TV room, and the hot tub most. Jill is so very friendly and accommodating. There are so many kitchen supplies available for use, the beds are fully made, and there are plenty of fresh towels. The views from pretty much every window in the house are absolutely stunning, especially during/after a snowfall. Needless to say, we are already planning our third visit!
