THE NATURAL SITE
This contemporary house boasts views as well as direct access to a free flowing river with crystal clear water where you can swim or fly fish for small native brook trout or simply enjoy family time, right at your doorstep. You'll experience the sense of peace that one feels around water.
Yours to enjoy are a very private nature footpath and stream, landscaped lawn and river views. Although secluded and private, the home is not isolated and sits within an 8-minute ride to town for your daily needs and shopping (supermarket, drugstore, gas station, wine & liquor store, family restaurant, etc.).
The house’s striking modern design in such a serene setting offers modern amenities and wonderful indoor-outdoor flow. The three bedrooms on the second floor offer sleeping arrangements for a maximum of 6 persons (4 adults and 2 children_under 12 years old) and give access to a bathroom equipped with in-floor heating. The bathroom on the first floor features a walk-in ceramic shower and also in-floor heating. Airy and inviting, the kitchen has modern amenities.
Step out onto the screened porch only feet from the river or lounge on the upper deck overlooking the property.
There are plenty of attractions and activities nearby to keep you busy for days. Just minutes away sits Québec City, one of the most beautiful cities in the world named as one of the World Heritage sites from UNESCO. There are museums, the Château Frontenac, gourmet restaurants galore and a thriving cultural scene.
Among a score of activities for next summer in the city, the Festival d'Été de Québec (300 shows, 10 stages, 11 days of music) will be held from July 5th to the 15th 2018.
Right here in Sainte-Brigitte sits a beautiful 18-hole golf course The Alpine Golf and Country club. Another golf course, The Mont-Tourbillon, in Lac-Beauport is 15 minutes away. Also, Sainte-Brigitte offers several playgrounds with swings and outdoor amenities for kids. Local hiking trails are also nearby.
The Indian Reserve Huron Wendat, the Montmorency Falls and Ile d’Orléans as well as the Parc National de la Jacques-Cartier are close and are certainly worth a visit.

Peaceful Nature Respite
Here is what you really need to know:
The owners are absolutely amazing.
The property is beautiful, safe, and includes water access, private nature trail, indoor/outdoor sitting areas, and all the worldly amenities of modern society wrapped up in a serene shell. Nearby there is access to grocery, gas, hiking, and a short drive from charming Old Quebec. Our experience was magnificent and we highly recommend staying here.
Don't miss this impeccable home set amidst native woodlands on a wild stream
Nature's Haven affords visitors the experience of serenity amidst architectural and natural beauty.
The home is:
+ Conveniently located: 40 minutes from Quebec City; 45 minutes from Jacques-Cartier NP; 9 minutes from fresh baguettes; and 19 minutes from a lovely local trail.
+ Beautifully designed: The floor plan creates numerous indoor and porch spaces for rest and enjoyment.
+ Thoughtfully equipped: This house offers comfortable beds and pillows, cozy chairs, inviting tables for dining or playing games, and a kitchen with every convenience we looked for. It has the best cooking knives of any place we've stayed.
+ Meticulously maintained: Clean, clean, clean, and also easy to keep tidy as a guest.
All that said, our favorite aspects of Nature's Haven involved its setting. The home's location amidst native woodlands creates its distinction:
+ The lawn area is large enough to provide a sense of openness and space and let the sun shine in.
+ The woodland trail beckons nature lovers of any age to breathe in balsam-scented air and exhale worries.
+ The stream is the exclamation mark of Nature's Haven. Its crystal-clear waters welcome you to dunk in, cool your feet or fish (licenses available for purchase in St. Brigitte). Its musicality sings you to sleep at night.
Hosts Murielle and Jean are conscientious, attentive, friendly and helpful.
Beautiful, peaceful, serene, everything you need.
Our family very much enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful, peaceful and private.
The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed (except a teapot). The hosts very friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend.
Murielle and Jean met us at the house with a warm welcome. They walked us around the outside and inside of the property to get us familiar with everything,
This home is beautiful, clean, comfortable and well stocked. The screened in porch is a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee, read a book or just relax.
The yard is beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed our nights outside under the stars and around the fire pit. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the river was wonderful.
Quebec city is an easy ride from the house about 30 min. There is also nice golf course about 10 min down the road from the house.
We would highly recommend staying at Natures Haven!!!
Cute house on a beautiful river
We had a great stay at Nature's Haven. The house sits on a large property on a peaceful river. We spent most of our time in Quebec City which is a 40 minute drive from the house. Already miss the soothing sounds of the river and cool weather.
this was a beautiful house in St. Brigitte du Val
We loved our week in Nature's Haven. The house is gorgeous with great attention to details that made it delightful. Loved looking out over the river from the dining room table. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked meals there every night. We didn't even mind the day we had to spend inside due to the rain. There are hiking trails in the area, but the Jacques Cartier Park (about 50 min. away) should not be missed. It is about 30-40 min. to Quebec City, where we also spent a day. Our hosts were very attentive and obviously very proud of their house, and we felt lucky that they shared it with us. (Family of 4--two old adults over 75 and their daughter and son-in-law.)
