About Grace Wei-Maguire
We are from Chicago. We loved Chicago but we moved to Houston in 2008 due to a new job.
Grace Wei-Maguire purchased this Hotel in 2013
Why Grace Wei-Maguire chose Vail Village
It's brutally hot here in Houston. When I lived in Chicago it was always going somewhere warm now it's the opposite. I want to go to cool if not cold places when we travel. Which is why we bought several weeks in Vail to see how it goes.
What makes this Hotel unique
Our unit at The Sebastian is great for a couple or with one child. There is a sleeper sofa in living room. The place is large and has everything you need. If you want to stay in and eat you can prepare it yourself at the kitchen. The grocery store is just a short drive down the road. There is wine/cheese shop just outside of the Sebastian. If you're like us, we go out and eat except for breakfast. The balcony there is breathtaking. You wake up to the mountains and the fresh air. If you're there during snow season you can have your skiis at the base camp waiting. Just a short walk away. During summer and fall months there is sporting events that happen in town. You can hike and bike. There are concerts in Vail Village. They have created at the top of Vail Mountain a nice zipline, rock climbing, obstacle course and tubing. Yes, when we went in June there was still snow for tubing. There is just a lot to do.

Great Alpine Home away from Home
Grace is easy to work with and responds promptly to any questions or concerns we had before and during our stay. From the minute you arrive the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel decor and atmosphere is sophisticated yet cozy and welcoming. The room is beautifully decorated and equipped with all the comforts of home. I loved making fresh brewed espresso & lattes with the espresso machine provided what a great way to start the day. If you are a skier, all your gear is stored slope side at base camp which is about a 10 minute walk through the village- boots are continuously heated while being stored. All the restaurants that Grace recommended were spot on. There are so many dining options it is hard to pick. The bed is very comfortable, bathroom floor is heated and the toiletries are of spa luxury. Some nice extras are complimentary bottled water in glass bottles kept full for you at all times and there's a bedtime snack delivered to your room to satisfy your sweet tooth. This was our favorite of many VRBO ski condo rentals we've had and we can't wait for next year!
Great place in the heart of Vail Village
This accommodation was absolutely great! Rented for a week at the end of May. It is a really great 1 bedroom condo in the heart of the village. The Owner Grace was very accommodating and easy to work with. The condo is within The Sebastien Hotel. I have to say that I travel more than 10 times per year, and the staff at The Sebastien Hotel provide the best customer service I have ever seen in all my travels. I would recommend this to anyone going to Vail.
