About Charles Hyde or Johanna Hyde
I am a Tucosn local. Now married with an infant child, my wife and I reluctantly purchased another home in Skyline Country Club but could not part with our Casita.
Charles Hyde or Johanna Hyde purchased this Condo in 2008
Why Charles Hyde or Johanna Hyde chose Mission Hills Townhomes
Our move just down the road was bittersweet because of how much we loved living at our Casita. My family and I have been members of the Country Club since the club opened in the sixties. As soon as I became eligible, I set my sights on purchasing a casita. My father's childhood home was in Skyline, and my grandmother lived in the community for almost 40 years. Since purchasinig the casita in 2008, my feeling about the place and the Skyline community in general is captured by my slogan that I have uttered all too many times: 'It never gets old!' The roads canopied by native desert foliage, the city lights, the expansive view of the sky from the deck, the mountains to your north, the privacy and quiet, the bobcats and sonoran desert wildlife all makes it very hard to leave and go to work in the mornings. Hopefully you will not be here for work. Come find out for yourself!
What makes this Condo unique
The casita has an arrangement with the Skyline Country Club that short term non-homeowners (renters) may use the country club's facilities (golf, tennis, fitness, swimming, dining) without having a membership. Contact me for further details.

Great Times at Skyline
We had a wonderful stay !!!!
May golf vacation
My wife and I stayed in this casita for a late May long weekend golf getaway. We really liked the casita - perfect for the two of us. The modern and very comfortable décor suited our sensibilities and needs. Bed very comfortable. Nice executive kitchen. Owners were very helpful with helping arrange golf. All in all, we really enjoyed the casita, would recommend it to anyone, and look forward to returning.
We recently stayed at this wonderful casita in the historic Skyline Country Club Estates. The location is perfect near many great restaurants and shopping. We walked on the golf course paths many mornings and observed the gorgeous views and abundant wild life. The castita was perfect for viewing the dramatic city lights and the locals were very friendly. The owners were very helpful and we would definitely return.
This was our first time visiting Arizona. We have family that winter in Skyline Country club and decided to join them for a week. Wow, are we glad we did! The views from this casita were breathtaking. We enjoyed our breakfast on the spacious deck each morning. Although it was a little windy this time of year. The casita was very comfortable and we loved the modern well equipped little kitchen . We hiked and mountian biked nearby trails. My son love the pool from which was a short walk from our casita. The owners were cheerful. We will be back next year to escape the long New England winters.
Did not meet expectations
In our opinion the casita did not meet expectations. Poorly equipped and furnished. For instance, on move-in there was one lamp for entire casita; bed is uncomfortable due to sagging. If you rent through VRBO, renters cannot use the Skyline Country Club facilities at all. If you rent through the casita management company, you have limited use of the club. We experienced chronic sewer issues including sewer smells and multiple plumber visits. The cement floor throughout is not attractive and difficult to clean. The dishwasher is not mounted properly and we ended up not using due to poor operation. In our opinion this casita is overpriced and not well maintained. On a positive note, the city view is nice.
Beautiful condo in a great location
My wife and I recently stayed in this unit and were very pleased overall. The photos don't do the view justice from the back porch overlooking Tucson from the northern mountains. We would definitely stay here in the future.
