Unit #302 is one of the 5 vacation rentals in the 8 units complex at the St Moritz Condominiums. It is located on the 3rd floor and only up one flight of stairs from the front parking lot. These condo's are nestled in the alpine setting of the Taos Ski Valley sitting at 9,500 ft elevation. Parking is free, permitted and uncovered for condo guests only. Once you park your car it is a short 8-10 min walk/ ski beside the Rio Hondo River to catch the main base lifts, purchase your lift tickets, meet up with ski school, rent latest ski and snowboard equipment, dine out and listen to good music.

Your can see the ski slopes from the front porch of this unit. Unit 302 is warm and inviting, super clean, and tastefully furnished. It has all the comforts of home. The condo will sleep 7 in beds. The master bedroom has a queen bed sleeps 2, the second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full under a twin bed sleeps 3 and the living room has a comfortable memory foam sofa sleeper sleeps 2 more. Bath and white, luxurious bed linens are supplied. Down comforters, blankets, and a variety of pillows will keep your nights restful. The mattresses are new and very comfortable too.

NM sun floods the condo throughout the day. From the front porch and private side deck you can soak in the majestic views of the Sanger De Cristo Mountains. You can breath in the fresh, clean and cool mountain air.

A one-touch gas fire place keeps the nights cozy and inviting. Elegant stone work adorns the bar and fireplace. All floors are tiled, except bedrooms which have luxurious carpet to keep toes warm. Electric baseboard heat through out, maintaining each room at a desired, even temperature. Each bathroom has baseboard heating and each unit can be separately controlled.

A 46' HD Satellite TV, Blue Ray DVD player, free high speed password protected Wi-Fi will keep you connected to the outside world.

The kitchen and bathrooms have granite counters. The kitchen has gorgeous stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped with your cooking and baking needs. The private deck has a new gas grill. You will find an efficient washer and dryer with all the needed laundering and cleaning supplies in the unit's utility room.

On the first level you will find a locking closet for everyone's ski and snowboard equipment. Sorry, no hot tub due to a public shower is mandated tub-side along with a secured accessed area per the government regulations for this type of amenity. However, Epson Salt is offered in both bathrooms to sooth sore muscles after an active outdoor activity of fun in the sun.

Why Kelly Grossetete chose New Mexico

I learned to ski at Taos, then spent 17 years skiing and working at Snowbird and Alta, Utah. I found myself back at Taos Ski Valley with it's friendly, multicultural and aid back atmosphere. I love the variety of terrain the ski area has to offer, both for the expert and beginning skier.

The condo is located in the heart of Northern N.M. Where the sights and activities are almost endless: stunning mountains, expansive national forest, rolling sage plains, ancient and contemporary Indian Pueblos,and early Spanish historical sites. 400 year old Mexican adobe villages and churches, art galleries, museums, performing arts (music, concerts, plays, opera), hiking and biking trails, fishing, numerous hot springs, white water kayaking and rafting, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, bird watching, workshops and classes---well you get the picture.

What makes this condo unique

My family bought this property for its close proximity to the ski base area, it's amenities and spectacular views and hiking trails. Once I drive to the condo and park I never use the car again. Yet, in the summer or when muscles need a break from skiing, Taos and the surrounding area offer great opportunities for a wide variety do activities and really unique shopping opportunities.

Outstanding mountain retreat

The St Moritz condo is nestled in the heart of Taos Ski Valley. It's location provides easy access to the main base area. The unit is beautifully appointed and our family of 7 had plenty of room. Would highly recommend this condo if heading to Taos.

Great place to stay for a skiing weekend for our family of 5. Only a couple minute walk to and from the slopes and easy walking distance to the slope side shops. Would stay here again for sure.

Spacious and convenient

Very modern accommodations close to the ski valley. One of the closest and nicest places I have stayed that included a full kitchen. Every detail was included in the apartment. Manager was very courteous and attentive. Will stay here again and check out the town in the summer.

Great condo in the ski village!

Our group of 7 stayed here for a wonderful ski weekend in Taos. The condo is very convenient to the slopes and ski village. Kelly, the property manager, was very communicative and helpful. The condo is very clean and well-appointed with many extras not normally found in condo rentals (spice racks, shampoo/conditioner, etc). The bunk beds were a little tight for our group of adults but would be great for kids. Overall, a great place to stay and would definitely recommend!

What a Wonderful Experience

The condo was exactly how Kelly had described it - It was truly our "home away from home". My boys & I thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay. Yes, it was immaculate & we loved the attention to detail - Down to the Epsom Salt for our nightly hot bath after a long day of skiing. Kelly was very helpful and accommodating. Our car was covered in snow and she had it cleared and ready for our safe travel home. We highly recommend the St. Moritz Condo if you're ever in Taos Ski Valley.

The house and location was aweome!

Our family thoroughly loved our stay at St. Moritz. The house is beautiful and was exactly what we needed. The ski in/ ski out was a first for us and made managing everyone so much easier. I was wondering how easy it would be to get my tired crew home without driving but it worked great. Thanks for a great vacation!
