This is the most desirable location for a perfect vacation!
Oceanfront wit an unobstructed 270 degrees view of Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay.
Spectacular with every room viewing Banderas Bay and/or swimming pool at Molino. Tastefully decorated and welcoming. A "10".
Our party of five stayed in this unit in April and we couldn't have been more impressed by the unit, views, location and responsiveness of the owner and manager from day one of booking through check out. The unit has unobstructed ocean views. Pictures don't do it justice. Floor to ceiling glass doors bring the glorious sea breeze and outside in. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing a meal though we ate every meal out at the terrific restaurants in the area. The security team at the property is also top notch; we felt safe with their constant but friendly and welcoming presence. They greeted us with a, "welcome home!" each time we returned to the complex and tried to teach my niece Spanish. The front gate opens right onto the malecon which makes for easy access to a very accessible walking path which was helpful for those in our party with somewhat limited mobility. I can't recommend this unit and complex more. It was divine!!
The property is great. The AC did not work well in one room. The cleaning lady did not show up one day. Other than that it was great
Our family had a fabulous stay at Molino De Agua - a high-end condo complex with great pool right on the Pacific Ocean moments from El Centro.
This particular apartment clearly shows the artistic flair of the owners and is furnished to the highest of standards. Every room has great views and a wrap around terrace.
If you are looking for 5-star hotel luxury, look no further.
Wow! This property was spectacular!
The unit occupied the northwest corner of the building, fourth floor, overlooking the bay on one side and the city on the other. Sliding doors opened up to the balcony, which wrapped around the whole unit. We felt like we were outside with a great breeze, but without bugs or hot sun.
The three bedrooms all had ocean views and access to the balcony, and each had a bathroom. The unit was equipped with modern appliances and all the appropriate amenities. The land line with free US calls was especially convenient. The unit was filled with high quality paintings, prints, and sculptures by local artists. It was like living in an art gallery.
The location in the Romantic Zone on the quieter, south end of the malecon was perfect. We were occasionally bothered by street musicians, but most of the time, we only heard the roar of the ocean. Access to the building was restricted and we felt quite safe. The swimming pool was heated, and the swim up bar was much appreciated.
Of the many good restaurants in the area, we particularly liked Memo Pancake House and Fajita Republic. We also enjoyed the spa across the street, Venus Moon, and ziplining at Los Veranos, office just a few blocks away. The nearest grocery store was about a mile away on Uruguay, but there was a convenience store across the street.
This property is expensive, but worth it. Due to the strong dollar, we saved money on food and transportation. Restaurants seemed about 1/3 less than in the US, and most taxi rides were just 50 pesos (3 dollars).
Fernando, the property manager, gave us a helpful orientation. He provided detailed contact information, but we didn't need any assistance after the first day. He refunded our damage deposit promptly.
We would like to stay here again, and hope that this glowing review does not make that more difficult.
We awoke every morning to the sound of the ocean! Ah, I'm in heaven. Coffee in hand, sitting on the patio in awe of the absolutely amazing views of the Pacific ocean & boardwalk. If you like to exercise in the AM, the boardwalk is perfect for walking or running.
The condo exceeded our expectations. We have rented thru VRBO in Hawaii, similar high end units, but this one has a lot going on for it. First the condo is beachfront, meaning the unit is the entire width of the building along the beach, all xx1 units are beachfront with a patio the entire front & north side of the condo (sun & shade available). All other condo patios on the north side and are in the shade until late in the day & have only partial ocean views. Second the condo (inside & out) was spotless with accurate photos, great pool with swim up bar (drinks & some food), awesome location on the boardwalk for people watching, shopping & dinning. Third the condo has lots of room & furniture for lounging, dining, playing games, surfing web w wifi, etc. The windows / sliding doors in all rooms open up for natural ocean air (good cross flow if you prefer not to use the AC) and are fitted with sunshades to help keep the unit cool in the afternoon.
Fernando is the property manager and responds to your vrbo inquiries & reservations. He was very helpful & responsive to all inquiries & requests. He made us feel comfortable with our first international rental. Thank you! Also you can request a driver to pick you up from the airport for a fee; highly recommended.
I would prefer to keep this one my little secret but the owners were nice enough to share there home with us so thank you!
Finally a few tips.
-Stop at a grocery store before arriving at the condo for supplies (food & drink) especially if you plan to cook.
-Bring your own beach towels for the pool & beach or buy ones at Walmart, Costco.
-Order the chicken nachos at the swim up bar; amazing!
-Remember your a guest at a private condo & there are rules for the pool area (no reserving chairs, etc). If you don't like it, stay at a hotel. :)
-Have cocktails &/or dinner on the beach with your toes in the sand. Flaming mexican coffees at sunset are a must too!
-relax & enjoy your stay at the best condos along the boardwalk in Old Town. Why stay at a hotel?!?
