About Jim and Linda Wright

We are both self employed and only have time to use our cabin a few weeks each year. We live and work in Fort Collins and are only one hour away from Estes

Jim and Linda Wright purchased this house in 2002

Why Jim and Linda Wright chose Front Range

Our home is well decorated with mountain and indian art work. There are many activities in Estes Park including great restaurants. The cool summer evening allows one to sleep without air conditioning. This property is close to downtown, Rock Mountain National Park, Lake Estes and the golf courses. You will not be disappointed with our backyard setting.

What makes this house unique

This is a quiet neighborhood with really friendly people. Large lots are inviting to wildlife traveling through our neighborhood.

Very enjoyable place. Town was crowded due to July 4th. Roads were nice. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early. Fell on back deck and messed up my knee. Probably need to put some type of warning on the step down.

Owner's Response: Sorry about your fall. We did place a yellow strip on top of step. I expect the new staining of the deck has made it hard to see this step down.

Great vacation rental

We had a fantastic time in Estes Park thanks in part to staying here. Close to everything we did while on vacation. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating. Thanks for letting us stay at your rental.

Surrounded by beauty inside and out

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was everything we could have wished for and more. The property is so comfortable with all the amenities of home but with the beauty and wildlife of the Rocky Mountains at your front and back door. The owners have thought of everything from the sturdy fence to keep dogs in and wildlife out (except the magnificent birds at the feeder and bath!) to the very comfortable beds, and everything in between. We cooked and ate at "home" every day, and I can't think of a single kitchen tool or implement that I needed that wasn't there. I generally find the cookware/pans at rental houses to be lower quality and often kind of beat up, but the owners provided great pans in really good shape; they are well cared for with felt separating the nonstick pans. That's the kind of detail you don't get just anywhere! And the spices! I thought I was a spice hound, but the owners have me beat by a mile with all the available spices. The house is decorated in such a wonderful, eclectic way, with a combination of found art in driftwood, shells, and beautiful rocks, to antiques, collectibles, and mountain art. The furniture is lovely AND comfortable. The instructions made it so easy to figure out everything from the electronics to the grill to the hot tub—and what a treat the hot tub was, especially for watching the stars at night. This is a special place and one we'll come back to again and again as long as we can get a reservation!

Owner's Response: Carla: Thanks so much for the kind words! Linda and I are really glad you all enjoyed your stay in Estes. Sighting of the bear had to be great. Sincerely, Jim and Linda

Wonderful stay in Estes Park

  • 5 of 5

What a lovely house; very comfortable for 4 people! The yard was perfect for the dog. The house had everything we needed - towels, cleaning supplies, plastic bags to pick up after the dog, pots & pans for cooking.. you name it! Very close to downtown and a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. We felt at home and wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you!
