We absolutely loved this place! The interior of the apartment is so beautiful and very comfortable and spacious! We were two couples traveling together and enjoyed having our own private spaces and also areas to hang out together. Everything functioned perfectly--we did laundry, cooked in the kitchen, and we were able to have cool AC going when we needed it. The location is awesome and there is so much within walking distance! Rachel was so nice and easy to work with and beyond helpful to us during our stay! Thank you so much Rachel!!! We hope to return and highly recommend the apartment for your Florence trip!
This is an amazing apartment clean, beautiful and as comfortable as the pictures show on VRBO! We were a family of 4 and the apartment is so conveniently located to everything...just walk down the short block from this apartment and you right in the heart of the square where you can walk to everything that Florence has to offer, even the train.
The apartment has 2 bathrooms and the water pressure is great plus a laundry room with a washer and dryer...making it unnecessary to bring all those clothes! The master is very spacious and we loved the high ceilings.
The reason I gave this apartment 4 stars was due to that the Air Conditioning is not the best...it was wonderful in the master and in the living room we opened the wonderful huge windows that let in a nice breeze at night but I'm not sure how well it will do in the summer especially the bedroom upstairs...it's was very hot but we found a fan and it helped a little. Also when you have to leave the windows open you do hear the vendors at 6am getting ready for the market but after a few nights you don't seen to notice the noise from the city and after all you are staying in the city.
Rachael the property manage is wonderful she is easy to communicate with. We were late but she was waiting in the apartment for us, and very helpful in giving us information on the city and somethings we might need to know.
I would absolutely recommend this beautiful apartment but do stay early spring or in the fall if you like your place cool!

Rachel was always available to help
The location of the property was walking distance to all major attractions
The apartment was extremely comfortable all modern appliances and the furnishings were lovely
My kids and I definitely plan on renting this property again on our next trip to Florence
I have to repeat myself that Rachel was great, she was our favorite host in Italy.
We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. We are a family of four and the place was absolutely perfect for us. The apartment was clean, and comfortable. The living area is a good size with a sofa, and television. There is a dining table for four. All the kitchen necessities were provided: from dishes, utensils, serving dishes, strainers, pots/pans, toaster, cappuccino maker, stove, oven, regular size refrigerator and even the cooking basics: olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, and more. The master bedroom has cathedral ceiling, and quite spacious with a king size bed which was very comfortable and a sofa. There were plenty of closet/drawer spaces and a desk. The bedroom upstairs was suitable for 2 people. Our grown children had plenty of space. There is air condition in the master bedroom, upstairs 2nd bedroom and in the living area. The apartment was comfortable temperature-wise and at times, we were even cold (the AC works very well).
There are two full bathrooms, with large size sinks. There is a laundry room with a washer, dryer, ironing board, iron and laundry sink which was very helpful. I wish we didn't pack so many clothes. Rachel even left laundry detergent for us.
For daily cleaning and to tidy the apartment, brooms and dust pans, vacuum, cleansers and dish soap/dishwasher detergent were all available for our use - left there by Rachel.
Upon our arrival, Rachel was waiting for us at the side walk and greeted us as our taxi approached. She welcomed us with a bottle of wine and biscuits which were delicious! She toured us around the entire apartment, and showed us how to use the AC, stove, oven, kitchen appliances and washer/dryer. There was a hair dryer and hair straightener, and 3 outlet converters for our convenience. Rachel really made our stay in Florence and in the apartment wonderful. She checked on us, ensured we had the transportation set up for our daughter to go to Pisa Airport and scheduled the rest of our family's taxi ride to Florence Airport for us.
I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! The apartment was safe and quite. We traveled to other areas of Italy and felt safe to leave our belongings in the apartment. It was definitely our home away from home.
Thank you Rachel for making our stay in Firenze absolutely amazing!

There was so much good and so much bad about our stay here, September 2015. The apartment itself has been beautifully decorated and the location to different venues was great. The owner had enclosed the air conditioning units with a beautiful cover that did not allow the remote to operate unless you were right on top of the unit. Without the remote, the bedroom unit would not come on. I had to climb on top of the desk (per Rachel's instructions) to get the A/C working and I'm 68 years old. Across the street from the apartment is where all the vendors stored their wares and carts and the noise and conversations usually began at 6 AM. The shuttered windows were hard to operate anyway so maybe it was a blessing that we couldn't open them easily. The shower stall slowly backed up and then the sink backed up. When the plumber came he left a mess in both and I was told to clean it myself as their cleaning woman had conveniently taken a holiday. Rachel's attitude was less than hospitable but she was going through some medical issues at the time. I fault the owner for not providing her with backup. There are so many other VRBO offerings in Florence that I cannot in good conscience recommend this one.
I was fortunate enough to stay in this beautiful apartment for five weeks, sometimes on my own but mostly with other family members, ranging in age from early 30's to mid-70's. Everyone loved it. The apartment is located in a very old building (Ammannati lived there) but the unit itself has been beautifully renovated, retaining its charm while providing all the modern conveniences and comfort anyone could want. The location is perfect, tucked away on a short street with no shops and practically no traffic, but less than a five minute walk to the the Mercato Centrale, good restaurants and great shopping. Almost all of the major historical sites and museums are within easy walking distance. The train station is nearby. We used the apartment as our base to explore Tuscany, staying at several other nice places, but we were always glad to get back to our Firenze home. The property manager, Rachel Camarda, was great. She responded very quickly to all my questions both before we arrived and during our stay and helped to arrange taxis as family members departed for home. I stayed on for a few days and on the day I left she bicycled over to help me with my luggage. Thanks Rachel, you are the best.
All services are located at your finger tips! The New San Lorenzo Marketplace allows for great food shopping. San Lorenzo Church and Medici Chapel , Duomo, and Michelangelo's David all 5 minute walk from Apt.
