Highly Recommended

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful weekend away. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, the barn loft was warm and cozy, with new carpeting, comfortable furnishings, a spacious tub, and a balcony with a view. The owners were a pleasure to meet and were kind enough to let us use their game room. We highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful vacay away from the busy noises of everyday life.

We spent 2 days here and had a great time. it is a great location to launch day trips to view the fall color or summer hiking and kayaking. the gueat house was clean and just as pictured. owners were very friendly and accomodating. only down side i see is the absense of a tv.

Great Stay at Amazing Planet

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in the downstairs apartment with friends for a ski trip to Mount Snow. It was a huge space and we especially loved the sauna. We thought we had locked ourselves out one afternoon and Jonathan was extremely helpful and accommodating to help us back inside (door was in fact not locked, but just hard to open). Internet is a little hit or miss but we were there to enjoy our time in VT, not be on our phones/computers.

Very clean and we were able to heat food up with the hot plate. Would definitely stay again. Thanks again for having us.

Clean & Cozy

  • 3 of 5

We stayed in the downstairs apartment of the guest house. Overall we enjoyed our stay, below the pros & cons:

- pet friendly with no additional pet or cleaning fee

- very clean

- sauna

- very plush bed and comfy pillows

- spacious

- access to lots of books and games

- situated on a beautiful piece of property with access to a river

- very, very limited cooking options (a toaster oven, 2 hot plate burner, and a mini fridge; We stayed for 2 nights and had prepared meals ahead of time that only needed to be warmed up, so the accommodations were suitable for our stay. If we'd stayed any longer the lack of kitchen amenities would have been difficult.)

- there is no where to wash dishes except the bathroom sink (this is why I gave it 3 instead of 4 stars)

- the wifi does not work; there is a strong signal from the router, but we were never able to get it to connect

Just an FYI:

- there is no TV or DVD player

- there is no washer or dryer

Overall I'd recommend this apartment for short stays where you're planning to do most of your dinning out.
