It doesn't get any better than this prized condo, because of its layout, view and ground floor location. Three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with stunning view of the Santa Rosa mountains on the 10th fairway. When Mountain View opened, this view had a premium of $100,000. And, to top it off, there is no steep staircase to contend with.

The decor is contemporary with upgrades throughout: sinks, appliances, kitchen island, tiles, tub, hardware, shower doors, living room entertainment wall, all cabinetry and courtyard landscaping. Original artwork hangs throughout the home.

The condo is a two minute walk to the clubhouse, tennis courts, swimming pools and fitness center. An electric golf cart and two bikes are available in the two car garage.

Mountain View is a private, gated Toll Brothers built club and considered one of the friendliest private clubs in the desert. Renters have access to the pools, tennis courts, clubhouse bar and restaurant. The fitness center requires a daily fee of $10. Golf is available with a 2 month rental with $1,000 transfer fee.

Why Gail Andersen chose Deserts

The California desert is a winter destination for many. We enjoy the golf and the change of scenery. We have never rented the condo, but thought we would try it this year. It's such an easy place to live and we love that it is a 'turn key' property. It is super easy to maintain, allowing us to spend more time 'playing'.

What makes this condo unique

We had vacationed here for several years before 'biting the bullet' and buying. We were fortunate enough to be allowed to make all the custom changes to the property that we wanted.

Mountainview perfect

We stayed January and February of this year and enjoyed the condo perhaps more than any other we have rented and we've rented many others the past few years. We prefer the ground floor with the only drawback being some occasional noise from upstairs.

The location is ideal, close to the clubhouse and the fitness centre which we used almost evryday.

The condo is decorated simply in an uncluttered but beautiful fashion and the artwork extraordinary. It is perfectly sized,and we were able to have a couple of our adult kids and their wives join us for a week and they loved it as well. We found very little wasted area compared to some houses we ve rented which had much more square footage but little more useable area. The bedrooms were great,particularly the master with the southern view. Overall we found all the bedrooms extremely comfortable and not lacking in anything.

We cooked often and found the kitchen very well set up to do pretty much everything we wanted to do.

Then there is the outside deck;not huge but very useable with a splendid view of the lake and green on the 10th fairway with a gorgeous mountain backdrop. A friend who stayed with us a couple of days loved to sit out there in the mornings and as he would say "watch the subtle interplay of the shadows on the mountains".

Having been home for a few weeks now we often think about how much we enjoyed it there.

The owners are great and a pleasure to deal with and their pride in ownership is very much evident.

We look forward to our return in the future.
