Quiet, private, comfortable, pretty views, nice hot tub, great place to unwind from city life.
Thank you so much for sharing your guest house with us. We wish we could have spent more time there ( the next time we will) Looking forward to Koi Pictures. Thanks again
Glenda and John were great hosts! The Casita had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. They have thought of everything! The veggie garden was an added treat. The hot tub was inviting after a day of hiking on the mountain. Glenda was so helpful providing directions for the area. A quiet and beautiful location.
Our hosts, John and Glenda, greeted us warmly when we arrived and showed us around their lovely, well-manicured little slice of paradise. They are a friendly couple who truly desired to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Our Casita was so well appointed that I would be happy to have this as my permanent retirement home. The leather couch and recliner, and the beds were top quality. We dined on some of the fresh produce which they offered us from their garden. The hot tub was relaxing. We loved that they had a Vitamix for making our morning smoothies, and furnished us with quality cookware, dishes, and silverware. This does not feel like a rental, but more like a home away from home. We saw a few elk just a few yards outside of their fence as we departed on our morning travels the next day. The Casita is in a great spot, near to both Mt. Rainier National Park and Mt. St. Helens. While it is located in a neighborhood, it is a couple of miles outside of the town of Packwood, by the edge of the national forest. Stay here if you are in the area! We loved it!
Staying with John and Glenda was like staying with family.
They have everything you need and they add to all the necessities with overwhelming feeling of love and kindness.
This cozy casita is run more like a bed & breakfast. The property is gorgeous. Hosts are gracious. Can't wait to come back!
La Casita has beautiful surroundings and gracious and accommodating hosts. Being disabled, they quickly placed hand rails in bathroom❣ All amenities were included: dish soap, zip locks baggies, vitamix, blender, large pantry, etc. There is a fish pond, veggie garden and an art studio to explore. Glenda and John are special loving people whose aim is to please. I know we'll be back.
We had a great experience staying here. The house is great, with a beautiful garden. The owners are very welcoming. Our kids made friends with the owner, had a great time watching the fish, playing in the garden. The house is clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Best part is that Packwood is only about 35-40 minutes drive to Mt. Rainier National Park. Overall, one of the best parts of our trip was staying here! Thank you.
Very nice location. Everything was as described.
Our property is near the Cowlitz River and Gifford Pinchot National Forest, great place to enjoy the outdoors for all ages. Our town of Packwood is known for the two annual flea marts, Memorial Day week-end and Labor Day week-end. We are 6 miles from Packwood in community called High Valley Park we are 2 miles past the club house and golf course.
