Nice, efficient casita with super friendly hosts

  • 5 of 5

My husband, son and I greatly enjoyed our brief stay at the Casita in Packwood. The Andersons are wonderful hosts - friendly and accommodating. The casita is very well-appointed with all of the conveniences of home and a hot tub! Our location was also very conducive to exploring Mount Rainier National Park. The first morning we got up early to hike in the park and it was raining. Glenda was nice enough to loan us rain gear and an additional hat! We appreciated her and John's thoughtfulness. We hope to come back when we have more time to explore this part of Washington!

Cozy and welcoming

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 felt right at home at the Casita!! John and Glenda provided all that was needed and were very welcoming. The Casita was very cozy and was a great retreat after a day of hiking. Our kids especially loved picking raspberries and tomatoes from their garden.

The lap of luxury

  • 5 of 5

We had a terrific week! John and Glenda are such gracious hosts. The casita is extremely well equipped, and I don't mean just the kitchen. There were things available that we didn't even imagine finding on a mountain vacation. The beds were very comfortable and the quiet was profound. This was a truly relaxing place to unwind for a week, and I only hope we'll be able to repeat the experience again next year. The 5-star average rating for this property is well deserved!

Perfect Homeaway from Home (Casita), Nicest Hosts

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic stay at Casita. Glenda and John are the nicest host I have ever stayed with, they were really accommodating and welcoming. They gave us tour of their property and provided all information of Mt. Rainier. The Casita is located in very quite community, away from the noise but very well connected to the nearest town and Mt. Rainier.

This little house is all equipped and very well decorated, very comfortable in every sense. The best part is the garden that John and Glenda have maintained that make you feel very relaxed and homely after you come from Mt. Rainier Hikes.

I can't say enough of Glenda and John, they both are so much friendly. They showed their entire property including some of the best paintings by John, art-work by Glenda and their beautiful garden.

We really enjoyed Mr. Rainier, your company and a wonderful stay at Casita. We will come back for sure!!

Best,

Haresh, Ash, Nim
