About the property

This cosy apartment offers high-speed internet, gas fireplace, cable TV, large HDTV, Netflix, Wii game console, luxury queen size bed and bedding, fully equipped kitchen, en-suite laundry, leather sofa bed, spacious modern washroom, fresh new towels, free parking, BBQ and table and chairs on the outdoor patio. The ceiling height is just 6’3” at the lowest point so if you are a pro basketball player, this unit is probably not for you. We have a variety of board games and dvd's for your use.

Private entrance with free parking. Transit at the end of the street.

The garden suite was designed as a fully private, standalone apartment. We are available to answer any questions day or night but leave you to enjoy your stay in privacy.

The neighbourhood offers a rare combination of being so close to nature as well as modern conveniences and proximity to downtown. You can walk to the grocery store, liquor store, restaurants, great pub and local shops.

There is a bus stop located 200 meters from the house which can take you downtown. The highway to Whistler, Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge are all just a few minutes away. Lonsdale Ave is 4 blocks away and offers great shopping and restaurants as well as a community centre. Lonsdale Quay features a fresh food market with local products, an international food court, specialty shops featuring local designers, kids shops & play area, restaurants & a boutique hotel and spa, not to mention spectacular views of Vancouver!

Beautiful suite in good neighbourhood

I really loved this place. In 15+ years of renting apartments and villas I can think of very few that came close to matching this in terms of "livability". It is clean, modern and exceptionally equipped.

Other reviews have expressed concerns about distance to facilities, but we found no problems getting to the nearby supermarket, nor to various shops and restaurants on Lonsdale street. We walk regularly and found it took us around 25 minutes to get to Lonsdale Quay, and we found buses were quite regular.

Overall, I'd not hesitate to recommend the apartment and would definitely stay here again were we coming back to Vancouver.

Nice Modern, very clean and well equipt with everything that you could possible need

Everything about this property was outstanding.

So well equipt with very modern features, but still able to keep that homely feel with a real flame fireplace holding the main focal point.

with an up to date bathroom, which houses a washer dryer ideal for long term stays.

great TV setup with Netflicks for them rainy days in was an added bonus also wifi meant we were able to keep in touch with events places to see and things to do, these were also covered with leaflets left within the apartment.

We were left to our own devices, for us was great as we like our privacy , but Trish and David were on hand any time for any assistance if needed.

We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone staying here and well worth the price payed.

comfortable, compact space

This one-bedroom, daylight basement apartment was neat, clean, and very comfortable. Trish and David, as another writer mentioned, were readily available to help with changing a light bulb to giving good tips about bicycling routes. The comforters were somehow light weight, thick, and very warm. The bath towels were thick and cozy. The ceilings are low, maybe 6 1/2 feet (2 meters) high. The Lonsdale district is a little over a mile away--easily walkable.

Quaint Personal Apartment

Overall, we had a great time at this apartment. The place was very clean and it was a perfect amount of space for our few day stay in Vancouver. There is a nice fireplace in the living room and the place heats up quick if you plan to be there during the fall/winter. The owners were helpful and nice and since they live right above, they are there when/if needed. However, the ceiling is thin and unfortunately you can hear the footsteps above you. It is not quite walking distance to many things but if you don't mind a little bit of a longer walk or you are renting a car, then you will be fine.
