Easy access every day. It's all here virtually at your doorstep. Ferry, train or bus options day and night. No need for a car but if you prefer to drive there is free on-street parking outside your door.

Whether here for business or pleasure - this is the perfect Sydney 'base'.

Balmain Village setting is very trendy and the home of many celebrities, bankers, lawyers, artists and advertising executives yet far enough away from the main tourist hub at Circular Quay, The Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House but close enough to enjoy the vibe on a stunning 12 minute ferry ride that will take you past Luna Park, under the HARBOUR BRIDGE and right past the Opera House. Amazing that people go to work this way every day. WOW.

Right opposite the house is Barangaroo. The new Rocks/Harbour foreshore precinct! One stop and your there, just 5 minutes by ferry. Where you will find a huge selection of Harbour Side Restaurants, Cafes and Bars, Historic Pubs - Shops. Walk from Barangaroo - then onto Darling Harbour, the Convention Centre and across the Pyrmont Bridge to the Casino and Fish Markets.

Barangaroo, like Circular Quay, now has FERRY HUB in service which allows you to explore the harbour or any of the many destinations! Wynyard Train Station is just a 5 min walk from Barangaroo. So many transport options.

The Botanical Gardens is right alongside the Opera House.

Walk through the tree-lined Harbour Foreshore historic streets of the Rocks Village to more Cafes, Shops, Restaurants, Historic Pubs, Museums, Theatres and into the heart of the City's shopping, entertainment and business district. We recommend you take The Rocks Walking Tour.

Manly and Bondi beach are within very easy reach via public transport as is Watson’s Bay.

Spectacular views from this house facing East where you can enjoy a sun-filled morning enjoying breakfast or extend the folding arm awning for shade. During the summer cruise ship season berthing and ship turnarounds take place right in front of the house. Up close and spectacular!

There is also a local bus that will take you up to the heart of the City or into China or Thai town.

We booked both homes and couldn't be happier! The hospitality of our hosts was amazing, the homes were special, and the location outstanding! From the beautiful balconies overlooking Harbor Bridge to the spectacular garden rooftop views of Sydney to the well stocked kitchens and gorgeous bedroom views, these houses will not disappoint! Loved also the Balmain neighborhood, with exceptional restaurants, shops, and access to ferries and local transport. Can't say enough...thank you!!! We didn't want to leave...

Owner's Response: For those of you who may be wondering what Stacey is referring to when she says she booked both houses; the other house (in case this one is booked) is VRBO 360715, which is right next door with the same City views, exact same location. It is actually the one she choose to stay in as the others in her party liked some of the other features in this house more. (two houses side by side but different) Thank you Stacey, It was great to have you stay and have such a wonderful time. Knowing that though most of our clients mostly eat out, it is always nice to also know that for those that choose to eat in sometimes that the appliances etc we provide in the kitchens is well equipped for dealing with cooking. We feel the same when we travel. Location is just so important and knowing or understanding that when making a booking is just so important and all of our clients mention it and we are always very confident that the location aspect never disappoints. Balmain has everything one needs and as you so rightly noted it is just a lovely neighborhood of historical significance. Icing on the Cake!

We wrapped up our two week vacation with a stay at "Two Hearts" & wish we had another two weeks to luxuriate here! It is truly spectacular-whether you want to explore Sydney or unwind at "home". It offers the best of both worlds. Giacomo could not have been more helpful with advice on maximizing our time to explore, OPEL tickets, ferry schedules,personal favorites...we felt we had our own concierge! The location is perfect-Sydney is a walk through the park & a 12 minute ferry ride away. The villa could not be lovelier- bright, spotless, comfortable without being stuffy, superb views of the harbor, beautiful bedrooms & linens. Thank you Giacomo for opening your villa to us. We look forward to a return visit.

Great stay for our family

Giacomo’s place was great, all was in working order and lived up to the pictures with an amazing view on the deck and from the bedroom balcony above. The setting is very quiet yet convenient to bus ferry and shops via a short walk, and it was easy to park on the street for the few days we rented a car to go farther afield.

Giacomo was a great host, had good tips and was available but ensured our privacy. Our family of 4 had a great stay in Sydney at this beautiful historic home. A true jewel!

Amazing Home; Wonderful Location! Spectacular!

This is a wonderful place to call home while visiting Sydney. My wife and I and our 3 teenage children travelled from Canada and spent 6 great nights at Two Hearts in early July. FIRST, it is a beautiful home. It has tremendous charm, being a heritage house that has been fully restored with all of today's conveniences and comforts. It was spotless. The beds were very comfortable after a day of sightseeing. The kitchen was amazing with all of the gadgets and excellent dishes & glasses. It also had a million dollar view of Sydney harbour, which from the master bedroom at sunrise or at night time was breath taking. SECOND: the location was superb. The neighbourhood was very convenient by ferry service to the heart of Sydney - 12 minutes! Each morning and afternoon, we looked forward to passing underneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge and going alongside the Opera House to start a day of busy activities. The ferry ride was a relaxing and beautiful way to start (or unwind) each day and could not be replicated had we stayed in a downtown hotel. The family photos on the ferry in different lighting conditions were amazing. The neighbourhood had tremendous vibe with excellent restaurants and cafes. We wished we had more time to explore East Balmain. THIRD: Giacomo was the consummate host. He had great suggestions and was able to share practical insights. His instructions on the unique features of Sydney were top notch and his practical tips on where to go and how to get there were worthy of the best concierge in town.

As first time travellers to Sydney from North America, staying at Two Hearts surpassed our expectations and gave us an unparalleled opportunity to enjoy Sydney. Our visit was enhanced and our family memories heightened as a result of our amazing time spent at Two Hearts.

Great location

The house is in a great location. It is very convenient to downtown Sydney, the opera house, and the beaches. Our host was very gracious and informative, he helped us with transportation and the best areas to visit. The communication and instructions were excellent. The home is comfortable, the large kitchen is well appointed, and the view from the terrace is lovely.

Beautiful Balmain View Home That Enhances Sydney Experience

When reviewing potential homes for our week-long stay In Sydney, I was captivated by the pictures of this home. The view and interior appeared outstanding and it's location in Eastern Balmain appealed to my adventurous spirit, close but yet so far away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD. Even better than expected, the house provided all the modern conveniences but the character of an older home. The views were breathtaking from both the living area and the master bedroom and the two balconies. The kitchen provided all of the essentials for meal preparation and the beds and bedding were first class. Incredibly quiet since it sits on a dead end street. Adding to the fun of our stay was the short walk to the ferry and the 10 minute ride to Circular Quay. The added bonus was nearby Darling Street with it's hip vibe of great eating choices and first class quality food for home preparation. Although we ate many meals in Sydney, Darling Street provided many pleasurable meals, as well. If not in the mood to walk, we found taxi and Uber very convenient. On our previous visit to Sydney, we stayed at the Four Seasons and I thought our experience this time was far superior. A perfect getaway for two couples or a family with three or less children.
