The house is fully furnished including hotel quality white linen and towels, china, glassware, flatware and cookware. Set on two levels with internal wooden staircase . On the ground level is the kitchen, a combined pantry and laundry with WC and shower, then the formal dining room and elegant living/lounge room with French doors leading on to a front patio with unobstructed City and Habour views. Both rooms have white Carrara marble surround faux fire places. Upstairs are the 3 bedrooms each furnished traditionally. Front bedroom has a King size French Sleigh bed. There is an ensuite bathroom off the rear bedroom , which also has a French Queen size Sleigh bed and AC. The middle bedroom has a double sized antique brass bed.

We have stayed in many VRBO and Airbnb homes over the past few years and found this to be top rated -A Definate five star plus 👍?it is a beautiful home and well suited to couples sharing-the kitchen is huge the front deck awesome night city views - we have to say however that Giacamo and Lyn made our stay extra special indeed! they are attentive brilliant wonderful hosts that Many could learn from.

Great location and wonderful home

Great location and great hosts

This property is located close to the city centre but in a quiet residential area with lots of interesting local shops and restaurants. The hosts are very helpful and the accommodation is perfect for those looking for something more interesting than a hotel room.Great kitchen and dining areas and lots of character.

Lovely House in a superb location with harbour views

This property deserves the 5 * reviews due to its comfort and location. The extras supplied by Giacomo the host were greatly appreciated from coffee, tea, toiletries, tissues to the washing machine and dishwasher tablets. We were a family of 5 adults from different cities in Scotland getting together to celebrate a milestone birthday and really enjoyed the many social spaces this house offers as well as the 3 bathrooms ! The location is perfect a quiet residential area away from busy central Sydney yet only a short ferry ride away. We purchased Opal card on first day and used it on bus, ferry and train. The ferry ride across the harbour was such a joy day or night giving spectacular views of bridge, Opera house and the Sydney skyline. Balmain itself is a quaint suburb plenty of cafe culture and an array of shops to suit most tastes.

We had a busy 6 days of sightseeing so really did appreciate coming back to this lovely house to relax and enjoy a quiet drink on terrace and seeing Sydney lit up at night and even a few fireworks over the bridge on our first night.

Our activities included hop on/off bus tour of Sydney stopping at Fish Market where we had the best fish and chips ever; back stage tour of the Opera House, so interesting ; visit to Old Victoria building steeped in history and now home to "posh shops" ; a superb meal at the Farmhouse restaurant in Kings , advance booking required an explosion of flavours awaits you. Also took a day out of Sydney to visit Hunter Wine Valley in a small group with Kerrific Tours (Sam) which took in boutique wineries, a brewery, chocolate making factory and visit to animal sanctuary where we met sleepy Koalas and friendly kangaroos. The trip was so enjoyable as was the countryside . Also highly recommend taking a ferry trip to Manly the beach is beautiful and lots of good eating places and lots of dog lovers.

Staying at Two hearts offers the best of both worlds; close proximity to central Sydney yet the peace and tranquility of village life.

Best view of the Sidney Harbor

Perfect for two couples traveling. We each had our own bathroom and the bedrooms are at each end. There were three bedrooms in all in our unit. Updated kitchen had everything for our "gourmet" cook. We were able to walk to the store and to catch the ferry into town. Sitting on the big deck in the evening was very enjoyable. Lyn shared a huge jar of her own lime juice since the lemons on her tree were not ripe. (We were encouraged to pick from their vegetable garden).

It's got it all....

Two Hearts has got it all! A beautiful Balmain East character home, with all the modern upgrades anyone would require, it was perfect for our family of six. We especially loved the balcony overlooking the harbour and the spacious, yet cozy kitchen. Only a ten minute walk to the ferries, we were at the Sydney Opera House, the train station and Darling Harbour within minutes. Staying at Two Hearts certainly added to the richness of our stay in Sydney.
