Have a tropical escape on the Big Island of Hawaii by staying at Kona Alii #209. This vacation rental has 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms, spacious enough to sleep up to 4 guests. Family and friends will adore the prime location the unit is in. A variety of great restaurants and shops are within walking distance. A quick drive or Uber will take you to Hale Halawai Park or Kona Brewing for a cold one.
The home showcases Hawaiian decor and Bamboo flooring throughout. An open living room has comfortable seating arranged around a flat screen TV. The couch functions as a sofa sleeper for two guests. WIFI is also provided to ensure your entertainment. A washer and dryer are assembled handy for any wet bathing suits. A full guest bathroom can be accessed from the living room.
Across the room is a fully-equipped kitchen. The kitchen has several appliances and granite countertops to help a chef prepare mouthwatering meals. A built-in breakfast bar offers seating for meal times and for keeping the chef company. If you prefer dining alfresco, head outside onto the private lanai overlooking the swimming pool. There is patio seating for four, a lounge chair, and BBQ grill. This is the perfect spot to sip on a Mai Tai while catching mesmerizing sunsets over the ocean.
The master bedroom is down the hall, furnished with a Queen-sized bed and TV. There is an attached bathroom for privacy. A separate vanity area makes getting ready easy.
Kona Alii condominiums has an assigned parking space corresponding to your unit (#209). There is also a swimming pool with lounge chairs right next to the beach. You will be able to hear the waves crash from both the pool and your private lanai.

Great place to stay
I had a great stay and would book here again. Perfect location right on Aliʻi drive with access to parking on Kuakini. Right in Kona town and can walk to all restaurants, shops, bars. Beach access directly across street. Farmers market 1/2 block away, Huggos 1/2 block away. Showers have very good water pressure. Comfortable bed and sofa bed. Great high speed internet access. Books, DVDs, CDs all available to use (although I didn't use them myself) as well as beach chairs, boogie board and I think I saw snorkel gear in the laundry room but would suggest buying your own snorkel gear from ABC Store down the street. TV in living room and bedroom.
Nice lanai overlooking swimming pool with small view of ocean between the buildings just as pictured.
Noise levels from neighbors can be annoying at night and early morning but there is a building manager onsite if you feel you need to ask your neighbors to quiet down past 10:00pm.
Short drive from Airport about 9 miles.
Short drive to Costco, Target, Walmart, Ross stores.
Only suggestion to owner would be that it may be time to update the linens and towels but there are ample towels to use.

great place in kona
we stayed here while in kona for a wedding and had a great experience. lots of space, very convenient to everywhere we wanted to be. would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting kona!

Great location for price
Attractive and well-equipped condo in great location on Ali'i Drive, within walking to downtown; just across the road from the beach; excellent partial ocean view with sound of the surf from the private lanai.
It was well-worth the price. The unit was clean and well-maintained generally. Booking and checking in were more or less seamless. I would definitely recommend it to friends and would consider staying there again in the future.
