This Big Island of Hawaii condo is perfect for a small family or group of friends. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms the unit is spacious enough to accommodate up to 5 guests. Vacationers will love lounging on the private lanai all day mesmerized by the ocean views. Kona Bali Kai #206 features an ideal location right outside of town. If you are looking for an adventure, this quiet are is just a quick car ride or trolley ride away from great restaurants, shopping, state parks, and so much more.
Inside this upgraded (July 2011) vacation rental is an open floor plan with a kitchen, dining area, and living room. The well-equipped kitchen has tiled flooring, granite countertops, and all appliances needed for a chef to cook tasty meals. A built-in breakfast bar is fitting for any guests who want to keep a conversation going with the chef in the kitchen. Everyone can gather at the dining table with seating for four to enjoy a meal together.
Feel like dining outside? Bring your meals to the private lanai with patio seating. The lanai has breathtaking ocean views. Eat, drink, and relax out here while you watch some of the most gorgeous sunsets over the Kona Coast.
The living room has comfortable seating situated in front of a TV. Window A/C, WIFI, and a washer and dryer (handy for any wet swim suits) are all provided for your convenience. The couch assembles into a sofa sleeper for additional space.
Each side of the unit holds a bedroom. The large master bedroom is furnished with a luxurious King-sized bed, TV, and private bathroom. This bedroom is also facing the ocean and has slider doors to allow the ocean breeze inside. The guest bedroom on the opposite side of the home has a Queen-sized bed and TV. A full guest bathroom is available as well.
Kona Bali Kai has plenty to keep you busy without even leaving the complex. The condominium complex has a swimming pool area with several lounge chairs and a hot tub. BBQ stations are also ready to help you grill up a snack.
This unit will sleep up to 6 people, although there is an extra charge to anyone with over 4 people.
1-week minimum during Christmas/New Year holidays and Iron man. Rate slightly higher as well.

Great location right on ocean
The second toilet leaked, both the valve and the tank - needs a new valve. We never reported it because we were afraid the pipe would be striped and we would be without the use of this toilet. Second reason for only a 4 star review is the wi-fi never worked, even after we went to the rental office. This cost my daughter several hundred dollars, as she had something medically related to turn in Jan. 1. Otherwise the place was great. We saw a lot of turtles, and loved watching the surfers in the waves. We love the big island of Hawaii!

It is a beautiful location and great service.
Great quiet location.
Our stay was very nice. The unit was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. With the exception
of some minor repairs needed, the unit was just as described. We would recommend the location to any one wishing to be just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. Too bad we did not discover the trolley schedule sooner.Our bad. We would recommend to friends.

Location was beautiful. Condo was well equipped and clean. Lanai was spectacular.
Sunsets, whales, dolphins and surfers kept us entertained. Building is quiet and peaceful other than New Year's eve. Unit needs some maintenance like patio doors and windows but overall was very nice. We would definitely stay again.

What a view!
We stayed in this apartment for a week and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. We picked up our keys later in the evening but that was simple with the instructions given. The apartment was clean and just as the pictures show. Plenty of pans, plates, etc so no need to worry about that. Great bedroom with a view and lanai access and what a view! Definitely suggest as a lower cost option to a resort but with all the amenities of home. Hope to return soon!
Beautiful condo in a great location of Kona
We stayed in this unit for 5 nights at the end of January 2016. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend this location. We spent endless hours on the lanai enjoying meals and watching the surfers below. We even were treated to a few whales swimming by and spent time with the sea turtles that were in the surf. The unit is well kept and very nicely decorated. They have property management on site and security too. We hated to leave and would definitely rent this unit again!
