Clean, cozy room surrounded by peaceful grounds

  • 5 of 5

Stayed just one night with my 8-year old grandson as we were picking up his sister from a nearby camp. Simple clean room with a large beautiful fish pond just outside the door. My grandson had a great time feeding the fish. Lots of ground with many different types of birds flying by to eat at the bird feeder, great place for bird watching. Aimee was very hospitable and gracious. She made delicious blueberry muffins for breakfast. I cannot emphasize how clean the apartment was - - I felt that I could have eaten off of the floor. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Restaurants were easily accessible, just 15 minutes away.

Pocono paradise

  • 5 of 5

Aimee and her family provided the perfect getaway for my anniversary. The home was exactly as described with a few extra special surprises. The location is great for local attractions such as water parks, nature walks, and local breweries. Aimee and her family were incredibly helpful giving suggestions and answering all questions right away. I can't wait to visit again! Thank you Aimee!

My Pocono Get away

  • 4 of 5

The owners are very nice people. Very nice country retreat, close to excellent Restaurants! There are 2 chipmunks that come to visit in the morning, looking for peanuts which are provided!

Located about 35 to 40 minutes from Jim Thorpe, PA with plenty of things to do

Loved the Antique Train Ride

Wonderful hosts

  • 5 of 5

Hubby and I were in a pickle to schedule a spot in the Poconos, and Aimee was so flexible with us. We often use VRBO and Homeaway, and it makes it so much easier when folks are willing to work with your crazy plans.

Place was very clean, comfy, and we loved the view. We got to feed a chipmunk in the morning! And, we saw a ton of beautiful birds out the picture window. It was a perfect spot to relax after I finished a long race, and our hosts couldn't have been more gracious. It is connected to the house, so it's like staying in a hotel but having way more room and only one neighbor that is super respectful. So, way better than a hotel. :)

Oh, and the homemade muffin in the morning was awesome! I would definitely stay again.

Good weekend stay

  • 4 of 5

My husband & I come to this area often for a weekend getaway, it was just what we needed, not too big, not too small, just enough for a couple! Aimee was very accommodating & sweet. She baked us cinnamon/apple muffins that we're truly amazing!! We enjoyed watching all the wild life right outside our door as well 😁

Cozy little get away

  • 5 of 5

Our 2 night stay here was so wonderful & relaxing! Our host Aimee welcomed us as we parked & gave us a tour of the guest house/pond/deck & back yard with a glider swing & fire pit which we had access to...we met her husband & daughter also such a nice warm & welcoming family.

The sound of the pond & waterfall made the experience so enjoyable it was wonderful sitting out on deck listening to it along with the different sounds of birds chirping. My fav Bird was this little hummingbird that would be at the feeder hanging in the tree and also our little chipmunk friend would visit us many times during the day we named him Alvin

Amy left us a container of peanuts to feed him and also a container of fish food to feed the Koi fish in the pond.

The guest suite itself was very clean and Amy had fresh flowers sitting on the table for us . the bedroom was Big with 2 queen beds (sheets already on beds) & the bathroom had shampoo/conditioner & towels provided also. Aimee also baked is homemade corn muffins the morning after we arrived and she serve them to us piping hot with butter

The only problematic thing for me was the mosquitoes...I got multiple bites despite using spray & a big citronella candle I brought for deck table. Overall our stay was fabulous & I would recommend you stay here if looking for a little R&R
