My little home is Super Convenient to DownTown venues including ACL, SXSW, UT Events, F1,and Lake Austin. Walk to Lions Muni Golf course across the street. Walk 4 blocks to Walsh Boat Landing and ramp on Lake Austin and Oyster Landing Marina. Also walk to Mozarts Coffee, Hula Hut Bar and Restaurant, Abel's Restaurant and bar on the Lake...all waterfront properties on Lake Austin.
Our City of Austin Short-term rental license is OL 2015 016656 with an expiration date of March 05, 2019.
Music: Auditorium Shores 3.2miles, Zilker Park 2miles, West 6th 2.6miles, Saxon Pub 4miles, Warehouse district 2.8miles and Convention Center 3.5miles, Downtown Entertainment areas 2.4miles. Barton Springs 2.6miles, Deep Eddy Spring fed Pool on Lady Bird Lake 1.5miles. UT campus 2.7miles. Capital 2.6miles.
Comfortable 2 Bedroom 1 bath home with Wood Floors. WiFi and HDTV. Not a condo, single story entry. One adjacent neighbor (Duplex). Updated kitchen with granite counters, dishwasher (what a luxury in these older properties!), Gas Stove top, MicroWave/Convection Oven. All the utensils and cookware needed. Gas Grill on backyard patio. Laundry with Washer and Drier.
King size bed in one bedroom and 2 twin beds in the second bedroom. Bed linens and bath towels provided. All necessary kitchen, grilling and serving utensils. Max occupancy is 7 with twin blowup. Sorta/kinda/just like home but in downtown Austin! Great spot to relax and stage for your days or evenings in Austin or on Lake Austin.
Across the street from Historic, yet playable, Lions Municipal (Muni) 18 hole Golf Course. You can walk, take the bus, Lyft/Uber or ride your bike to Downtown ($1.25 Bus, $5-15 Lyft fair, 10-20 minute bike ride). Super easy walk (600 yards) to Lake Austin's Waterfront where you'll find Oyster Landing that features the Hula Hut, Abels on the Lake, Mozarts Coffee, and of course the Marina, waterfront park and boat launch.
Zilker Park (ACL and other festivals) are about a 2 mile walk or bike ride. Lyft/Uber -or- City bus is $1.25 with 2 different route buses stop; One bus stop is 300' west, or for a quicker ride to town walk 700' east to the corner of Enfield and Exposition where four bus stops converge.. We are 1 mile to Mopac.
Also we have another vacation rental (North Padre Island waterfront) on vrbo that we've been leasing for years. I say this so that you can see the reviews on that place and get an idea of what kind of owners we are, and how we take care of our guests. Our property in Austin is relatively new on vrbo but we do have a handful of reviews.

All about the location and convenience plus a great neighborhood and comfortable place to live and entertain! We are less than a mile west of Mopac. City bus route in front of the property. Easy bike, walk or bus (2.6 mile) to Zilker Park & ACL. Walk (.4 mile) to Walsh Landing on Lake Austin...Hula Hut, Abels, Mozarts, boat ramp, waterfront park, etc.
What makes this Cottage unique
Walk to Lake Austin or Lady Bird Lake (Mopac pedestrian bridge). Bike to 6th St or to Zilker Park and Barton Springs. Bus direct to UT home game. Cab or bus ride home. It's convenient. Nice yard and patio. Grill. Convenience to downtown venues and Comfortable living. Updated kitchen and appliances (including dishwasher!!)with granite counters. Updated bath. Wood floors. HDTV, WiFi.

Perfect house for our stay
We didn’t spend much time at the house (pretty much a place for the family sleep) but it was perfect for our weekend visiting family. It was a great location and appropriately priced for what it was. The backyard was a nice place for the kids to burn off some steam. We will definitely be looking here for future trips to Austin.
Tarrytown is a very convenient neighborhood if you have a car, and the home was well-kept and comfortable. I would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful space, great location!
My husband and I stayed here with another couple, for South by Southwest. The house was perfect for us. We especially loved the private outdoor space and the proximity to downtown. The property owner was so accommodating, and even allowed us to check in early. I highly reccomend this property!

very convenient location
The property was clean and well kept. We were there for a weekend but were really only at the house to sleep. The location is quite convenient, whether accessing downtown Austin or MOPAC for heading out of town, plus the ability to walk to the lake and the restaurants there was very nice. I would certainly stay here again.

Were within easy bus ride to UT home games, downtown Austin events nightlife and theatres. Cab $15 with tip. Bike 15 minutes. All within .4-4 miles
