Please Note: We do not welcome bachelor/bachelorette parties due to bad experiences in the past. This house is best suited to families/ couples.
From the beginning of trying to find rental accommodations for myself, wife and our dog it was tough to find a place that was accepting of pets and then we stumbled upon this property.
Throughout the whole process Emma was a pleasure to deal with.
The house was as we expected it to be with no surprises which made for a very carefree relaxing weekend.
Definitely would recommend this property to friends/family and maybe us again... if we don't end up finding a place of our own up in Blind Bay as we loved it so much up there.
Everything about the Lazy Days Cabin was just what we were looking for to gather my family and my brother's family for a comfortable, cozy and relaxing birthday weekend in January. The cabin was the perfect combination of vintage cabin styled with modern decor and furnishings that made it feel like a real getaway without any compromises in comfort or conveniences. The beds and bedrooms had the luxe hotel feel yet we were able to BBQ out on the beautiful deck and read and play board games in front of the fireplace, cook together in the kitchen and eat together as a family at the dining room table. And the absolute cherry on top was the saltwater hot tub set among the trees. We loved all of it! It was the perfect cabin and setting for R&R family time and we will return!
What a beautiful little piece of heaven! Very comfortable and welcoming. Clean and everything readily available! Will defiantly be going back! Thanks for the wonderful stay!
We met up with friends for Thanksgiving at this welcoming and comfortable home and highly recommend it! It was the perfect size for our two families (4 adults and 3 kids, plus dog). The views are incredible, and the house has a warm, welcoming feel to it. We had a real mixed bag of weather while we were there, but even during the pouring rain there were games to play and books to read. Pop the fireplace on and get cosy! We were lucky enough to get a nice night too, and made full use of the fire pit on the property - watching the stars come up, and listening to the water. It was perfect. There is a very compete store just down the road for groceries and local chat. We read there were restaurants too, but we were happy in the house. The BBQ was perfect for our steaks the first night, and we cooked a 15lb turkey (and roast potatoes!) in the oven with ease. We did a full Thanksgiving dinner (plus bakery pies from the local store) for 7 at the house and it was a breeze.
Emma was a fantastic host - we felt completely welcomed when we arrived as there were personal notes welcoming us to their house, and warm wishes for a lovely weekend together. And it was. I would highly recommend this property for families or even couples looking to spend time together no matter what season.
This is the 1st time to the Blind Bay area, and truly loved it. SO much so we started to look for property ourselves. The Cottage had absolutely everything you need plus more, location was perfect well within walking distance of a store etc. The view from the deck was my favorite thing at the end of the day - to sit and have a glass of wine and just take it all in. The owner was great to deal with and the fact we were allowed to bring our dog was a huge bonus for us.
Enjoyed our stay very much.
My family of 5 just spent a wonderful week at this lovely cottage on the lake. The cabin is in a perfect location with easy access to the lake. The Grocery store is minutes away and Finz lakeside restaurant is walking distance. Waking up every morning and having a beautiful view of the lake as i lay in bed was amazing. Coffee and bailey's on the deck every morning and fire's down by the lake in the fire pit each evening. Fabulous :) Would recommend to family and friends.
