About Lori Cassin

We are the Cassin family from Galloway NJ. Purchasing Breakers West was partly for our family time in Sanibel. We have been staying and renting from Waterside Inn over the years, and knew that someday we would purchase a unit for ourselves. And now we can share this unit with others when we are not there! Time to getaway with our family has been the best, floating in the warm gulf waters, watching the dolphins swimming by close to the shore, or taking a sunset boat ride from Ding Darling. There is always something to do or see. We take photos and treasure our time away. The cover photo is of our kids at the Baileys Shell Museum, having a fun day.

Lori Cassin purchased this condo in 2014

Why Lori Cassin chose Sanibel

This property is on a calm quiet part of the island, yet easy access to shopping, market, bike path, etc. We liked being up on the 2nd floor and also having an elevator, as grandparents also visit. The kitchen and eating area is big enough for all to sit and eat, do a jig saw puzzle (we always do) or have game night. Also sitting out in the screened porch is nice, overlooking the pool area. It is a quick walk to the beach to catch the sunset too.

What makes this condo unique

Close to beach and pool, on bike path, walk to beach, nice front desk, washer dryer in unit, and after staying over the years, it is a roomy and quiet place.

Beautiful location, spotlessly clean condo!

  • 4 of 5

We just stayed at Lori's Condo last week, and had a wonderful time! The condo was clean and had everything we could've needed. Beach chairs, umbrellas, large kitchen, and all fully stocked with supplies to cook and make coffee (can't live without a Kuerig!). Also, has a large screened in porch - perfect for hanging out and playing some cards and board games after dinner. Great location! Right in the middle of everything! The bedrooms were comfortable, but I wish the twin beds in the second room had been more comfortable/had some extra pillows.

Lori was great, she always answered any questions right away!

Hi Lori

I have stayed at your vacation home many times and each visit has been wonderful! I was so sad to leave last night! I really enjoy the pool... water temperature is so comfortable and immaculate. Super comfy bed and couch in living room also. Great being able to do laundry in the unit... My oldest son who is a very busy New York physician was able to get away to join me this time and had a wonderful vacation as well!! Thanks for the lovely accommodations... hope to return soon!!

Owner's Response: Hi Michelle, Glad to have you back. Lots of small changes along the way, can't wait for the fall - bathroom redo, just met with contractors to pick tile. Start looking forward to next years dates, come see all the improvements. Best to all, Lori.

Poor quality for price.

  • 1 of 5

Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the Breakers West condo. The rugs and carpet were not vacuumed and we're dirty in general. The condo does not sleep 6 comfortably...the pullout is so worn out my niece that weighs 105 lbs could feel the frame. The baseboards and doors were filthy, mold on the tile in master bath, and cheap toiletries were provided. The fan in the master bedroom shook so hard and loud we barely could have it on. The washer was so loud. The condo was dingy all around. The pool had enough seating for two families of 4. And, one night we were unable to park in our assigned spot given others were parked on each side and our car wouldn't fit. On another day we had to enter on the passenger side because the cars were too close. ..spots were made for compact-midsize cars. I would not recommend this place.

Owner's Response: HI Jessica, I rely on the front desk for cleaning, will pass it on. Deep Spring cleaning happens soon, so hope it sparkles again! Thanks for your input on the sleeper and fan, new ones just ordered. Parking and space on the island is at a premium, small cars do better. September is slated for master bath/closet redo - can't wait! In the meantime we all enjoy our island getaway, time for sun and beach - biking and wildlife. Sea air and sand does age things quicker, also washing machine replaced last week. Doing our best - Lori

A Week in Paradise

  • 5 of 5

We spent a week on Sanibel and stayed in this wonderful condo with our two boys. We had a fabulous week enjoying the beach and the pool. The condo was great and we really enjoyed the screened in porch area. I think we ate all of our meals in that space during the week as it will be awhile before we can do that at home. The condo was fabulous and had everything we needed for the week. We loved using the beach chairs and umbrella to hang out on the beach. The location made it easy to get places and we even were able to bike to many areas of the island. I highly recommend this condo!
