About Harriett Goldberg

Our family is the only owner of this home, built in 1972. We learned to ski here in winter, went swimming in the river each summer; and hiked in foliage in the fall. So many memories! We decided on Loon Mountain because the mountain was right off the highway and homes were being built on the actual mountain - with four kids under 7, it made it much easier.

Harriett Goldberg purchased this townhome in 1972

Why Harriett Goldberg chose Landing at Loon Mountain

This places is restorative. After you hike, swim, explore, bike, kayak, canoe, eat, and on, come back home and be glad you did.

Right on the mountain, the house's close proximity to ski lifts made the choice an easy one for the original owners, and now their children enjoy a 5 minute walk to the Mountain Club, ticket windows, chair lifts and gondola, in service all year long. A new generation has discovered the pleasures of exploring rivers and streams In the summer, and kicking along the Kancamagus Highway in the fall.

Separate quarters for 2 families or larger groups give everyone communal space and private areas.

Good spot for the family and friends

  • 4 of 5

This place was straight out of the 70's.. Comfortable and in period. Plenty of space for everyone, comfortable beds, great room for the kids to sleep, and all parents to have their own space. Place was clean and close enough to the base lodge to walk for sledding.
